I don't blame them, first of all these people are leaches to begin with, they aren't covering "News" they are making several videos about the same topic, they are trying to keep people riled up so they keep coming ack for the next video where they say basically the same thing as they did in the three previous videos. Keep in mind none of these people have played the game or seen everything from beginning to end. I hate that section of youtuber, reaction channels are bad enough, they don't create anything but still call themselves creators when all they do is watch someone else's work and then turn around and start a patreon so you can donate money to them for watching other people's work for a living lol it's such a scam. When it comes to people who want to give their "thoughts" on something shouldn't they feel obligated to have all of the information before they start going balls to the wall railing against something? They are doing it to make money not to have an honest discussion.

So lets flip the script for a moment. You run a business and create a ip or product that will release soon but someone inexplicably leaks your product which in turn releases factual information for everyone to see. The leaker signed a nda waiver but still choose to leak your product. I come across your leaked product and review the credibility of said leak and determine it real - then choose to go to my own very popular youtube channel which has 2million subscribers and begin to interject my opinion based off the facts of the leak. I never signed your NDA. but i know this product isnt released yet and wont yet until a few weeks still. My discussion of your product is less than favorable and im certainly entitled to my opinion. What will you do when you come across my channel? Will you let me rock? And potentially influence my viewer base prematurely, based off my opinion on your unreleased product?

I mean come on this isnt rocket science some of these channels are using the current situation as clickbait for views, thats fine but wait until its a free for all. I dont think naughty dog would take any issue of people forming their own opinions and discussing there game that is open for review once released. these are fairly decent sized channels discussing something that very simply wasnt open for discussion yet based off of leaked facts. So YES i think ND is within their right to request the content in question be removed that could potentially effect public opinion of their game, until the appropiate time. Doesnt matter if the person signed a NDA or not Naughty Dog are too excersing their rights to protect their product. It doesnt matter that the youtuber never uploaded video or still images, they are still discussing talking points based off of facts that were not ready to be disclosed yet and that got leaked. To say this is just Naughty Dog or sony trying to silence people is just silly, If you put any company in this situation i can assure you there response would more than likely be to remove the content in question. Its the principal and circumstance. Obviously you cant remove all topic of disscussion from everywhere on the internet but on bigger platforms i would expect nothing less. If this type of behavior is allowed permissable going foward then one could imagine the ramifications of people with a platform talking about things prematurely, and under their own 'narrative' at that. The leaker is still in the wrong. But whats right is right, wait until the proper time to interject your opinion on a channel or channels you obviously earn monetary gain or clout from.

The problem is that Sony and ND don't have a leg to stand on legally. The only person they can legally to after is the leaker who signed the NDA. Abusing YouTube's broken DMCA system will only seed bad faith in the population Sony is attempting to sell their wares.

I really don't like how much of the youtube I've come to love is celebrating and gloating over this and taking the piss out of the game. I'm glad at least one of my favs took a more defensive position on it, Upper Echelon Gamers, though his argument is cogent and succinct and doesn't remove the possibility of the game being awful it has nearly as many downvotes as up. People are in a fervor and WANT the game to be bad... WHY? Because Druckman said some stupid shit? Most the shit people cite is from the development of TLOU, a game that was about as well loved as games are these days. Uncharted 4 was not one bit divisive, the people who actually cared that Drake had a son instead of a daughter? 100% noisy minority. The Lost Legacy also did not have some divisive reception. But maybe it's just that it's a snowball going downhill gaining steam. The problem is when the game turns out to not be Mass Effect Andromeda but instead a great game that happens to feature female characters in lead roles this is going to be an even bigger shit show to discuss than TLJ most likely.

The thing is some people want freedom from consequences for their speech. That said in a truly capitalist society Youtube wouldn't be allowed to be so huge it dominates most the public space, it's censorial nature should not be protected due to its private company status, especially with all its government subsidies and it's near monopoly status. Free speech online should be protected the way the post office protects our mail, it's a federal offense to tamper with someone else's mail, it should be the same with our messages on the internet.

i haven't seen any spoilers before 4:15 and exactly at that time there's MAJOR spoiler if it's true? but now i have doubts in my head that it might be real because it looked very plausible and exactly after that i stoped watching got nervious about it.

Is anyone really surprised with Sony's actions? It's likely they've already lost millions, not only from lost purchases due to the sjw crap, but also because of spoiling most of the plot and some gamers not seeing a point in playing it now (or not at full price). If it turns out they are lying and have abused copyright laws then Sony & Naughty Dog are well within their rights to have the videos struck and also pursue any monetary damages legally due to them.
