I personally was going to switch my work schedule to catch this, but decided to just go to work and watch it when I get home. I am not going expecting anything major at all. If the show is great and they show amazing things then that will be great, if they don't it won't be a big deal for me because I am not thinking much or expecting much.

Its just like E3 2005 all over again, where Microsoft showed a lot of real time games and demo's, which didnt look amazing, while Sony showed off all the Motorstorm and Killzone fake shit, and we ended up with the 'Xbox 1.5' memes.

I got this feeling that this show will be a disappointment to many and will start a huge negative first impression of nextgen that will be hard to recover from.

I think all publishers should be aware just how fucking tired people are of this drip feed marketing campaign from every side. Its going to bite them in the ass.

I mean crossgen games usually don't take advantage of the full capability of the new consoles. So I think it works either way.

It tells people it will work with the capabilities of the console in mind and I think that's all that matters. They know they're not just getting the XB1 version.

I don't expect much since it will be cross-gen games but if they demonstrate them well, highlighting and showing differences besides resolution and framerate, like better LoD, less pop-in etc. then I will be glad, though I think it will be only about praising how much better it is, bigger resolution and framerate and they will call it a day.

no one said gameplay demo, just gameplay, thats means it can be gameplay trailers only too

Assassins creed is honestly my least excited game, way too saturated for me even tho I LOVE parkour and freerunning.
Excited to see other stuff, Bring Burnout Back, I want some sweet realtime body deformation smooth like butter

I’m trying to get hyped but I just can’t honestly. Do I want to see Xbox doing better? Definitely for a better competition. Ever since I switched to PC its like “eh, I’ll get the consoles just for when I have company”

Hopefully todays showcase actually shows the power of the console. Not expecting any developer to hit full speed any time soon. But yeah, you get the point.
