Yeah, there’s just something that bothers me about it more in anime. The tropes are so in-your-face, that every time I happen to be around it, it’s just obnoxious.

I would love to see the bulk of anime take more influence from the beloved classics, and kind of drop those low-hanging-fruit tropes.

Although I will admit that comparing you to Amir0x was genuinely stupid, uncalled for, and just flatout out super cunty of me. I'm man enough to admit that it was incredibly lowbrow and tremendously unfair to you, so for that I do apologize.

But the fact that you're surprised I'm taking shots at you when you've done the same to me several times, unprovoked I might add, is hilarious to me. We're not friends, we can't stand eachother and I don't see that ever changing and that's totally fine, but I'll be dropping the pettiness on my end at least. I enjoy my time on GAF and I feel like if we continue to escalate this stupid drama one of us, or both, will end up banned, and I don't want that.

It’s nice to see something worked out without it turning into an everlasting blood feud, or requiring people around the same age as us to moderate us and act like our parents (no negativity towards them, it’s necessary sometimes).

It shows a lot of maturity, self-awareness, and productivity on the part of the posters, imo.

I don't even know where to begin with anime. I enjoyed Kill La Kill and One Punch Man and binged DBZ in my childhood. Any recommendations for a complete novice. I hear good things about AOT, maybe I'll watch that.
