I think AJ didn't understand the story or at least didn't agree with the choices characters made. If one pays attention most of their actions are very well explained and within character which in my opinion AJ didn't pick up on.

I have also provided an objective piece of information, a 10/10 score, that strongly suggests your interpretation is probably false. And then what do you do? Your interpretation is rejected because a) you can't provide supporting evidence, b) there's at least one hint to the contrary and c) your language suggests a bias against AJ.
It certainly doesn't support the narrative Angry Joe is motivated by alleged homophobia. Homophobia would have prevented him from awarding the remastered version a perfect score when the culminating DLC prominently features a character coming out as lesbian. I understand, That fact is an inconvenience for your unsupported theory. I understand you handwaving it.
Not only did he post the review and a walkthrough, he also put out an extended review discussion which lasts for almost an hour. This is poorly compatible with the idea his 6/10 isn't the result of assessing the various aspects of the game but just motivated by an irrational disdain of LBGT+ characters.
