Interesting...

Scroll down to the bottom of the official Demons Souls page on PlayStation.

So that begs the question...

Bo, that's a discussion dark1x is having about ...SPIDERMAN. what "remasters" are you talking about? :messenger_tears_of_joy:
He is also pissed like all of us who already have bought spiderman, that sony wants us to re-pay for it for the enhanced ps5 version.

It's fucking remastered man, go read about how remastered is made. Enhancements look like a minor polish, and they're already being made for free.

I think we'll have to wait and see how Spider-Man Remastered looks. None of us have seen the game but we already know what are they going to do with it. If we can really notice the upgrade in the models, the enhanced facial animations, the more pupulated city, the ray tracing and the bump in resolution and fps, then we'll know they put a lot of effort into it. If we end up with what it seems to be a resolution and fps bump then we can complain about it, because we know enhancements like that can be free.

Anyone know if the M.2. Drives for PS5 will be expandable or simply replaceable?

You seem to have literally no understanding of what an M.2 SSD is.

And everything I said about the storage is correct.

Xbox One has either 73% or 78% of total storage as usable space after the OS, 73% for 500 GB and 78% for 1 TB.

Xbox Series X will have the same OS, plus another 40 GB reserved just for quick resume. The One X 1 TB has 780 GB usable after OS. 780-40=720.

Edit - obviously I made a typo. 780-40=740. point stands tho.

It will likely look the same as Miles Morales. I imagine the remaster is their way of essentially have 2 Spider-Man PS5 games that look and play basically the same at launch. So lots of people can play Spidey for the first time, then jump into Miles, and both look, sound, and play great.

WTF is digging, mate. :lollipop_tears_of_joy: If it looks near MM, then it's a steal to pay $10 for an upgrade.
What are you even talking about again?
I already have bought spiderman and all DLC. In fact, MILLIONS have done so. 12 million people.
The only way to play them enhanced in my ps5 is this:
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition (Insomniac Games) - £69.99 (RRP), 80euro

like, as if it was not enough that you were DUPED into thinking this is a next-gen only game, now on top you are defending them for this SHITTY tactic.

Probably the right decision to include USB-A to USB-C cable. I wouldn’t want to use up the 10Gbit USB-C port on charging a controller. Keep that free for external SSD or HDD.
you'll want to use the USB-A ports on the back for external drives. They're also 10 Gbps and will look better having the cables running into the back of the console. Unless of course the drive needs a USB-C port.

yeah, right Bo....

You are digging yourself into a position that will be difficult to get out come November....

Maybe they added RT, redesigned how assets stream for the new SSD, added more NPCs and crowds, Upgraded NYC. Just wait till game releases. Even unlocking framerate could be alot of work if game was originally optimized for 30 fps. It's alot of headache.

"The remaster for the PS5 is no simple up-res, as many of the game’s art assets have been completely updated to take advantage of the PS5 console’s horsepower. You’ll see better-looking characters with improved skin, eyes, hair, and facial animation (including our new, next-generation Peter Parker). You’ll also see ray-traced reflections and ambient shadows, improved lighting, more pedestrians and vehicles stretching further into the distance, and the same optional performance mode offered on Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, allowing you to finally play the game at a targeted 60fps frame rate. We’ll be supporting near-instant loading, 3D audio, and the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback. Lastly we’re adding three amazing new Spider-Man suits, new photo mode features, and even new trophies for those of you looking to Platinum the game all over again."

Could you give me a link with confirmation then? Because they're probably arguing whether they should charge for an upgrade or give it for free.

Spider-man PS4 with all the DLC's: $39.99

What do you think near-instant loading means?
that is for the ps5 version. you still think ps4 version will load at <<0.87s>> ?

... if everyone just put him on ignore, maybe he'd just leave...

also, very funny how all the people in here that were having serious heartbeats FOR MONTHS whether ps5 would be 400 or 500,
now suddenly are so flush about paying 80e for enhanced versions of games they already have....

microsoft is with Gears 5 and Forza Horizon 4 and Sea of Thieves and Ori.
CDPPR is with Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk too.
and there are more
But aren't all of them (except for CB and The Witcher) just resolution and fps bumps at ultra settings?
  • Forza Horizon 4 is getting “higher fidelity graphics,” 4K / 60fps gameplay, Quick Resume, and faster load times
  • Gears 5 will see faster load times, Quick Resume, and “Ultra” setting 4K HDR graphics for both campaign and multiplayer modes
  • Ori and the Will of the Wisps is getting higher-fidelity graphics and faster performance (120fps / 4K HDR / 120Hz)
  • Sea of Thieves willtake advantage” of the “advanced hardware” on the Xbox Series X, although Microsoft didn’t give specific details. It is the only one in the group to have a more specific release date, though: the optimized upgrade will be available on launch day alongside the Series X.
  • Gears Tactics will offer 4K / 60fps gameplay
What I meant by my question was something like this:

That's new, we knew about the RT reflections but RT ambient occlusion is huge, interiors gonna look bomb

Spider-Man: Miles Morales will cost $49.99 on both the PS4 and PS5, or $69.99 for Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition.
You pay $20 for the PS4 Spider-Man.

Ding ding ding we have a winner. Why do you think he never directly compared the details before? Shark knows that he's being disingenuous, he's just hoping he can catch as many people in his troll bait web as possible.

Yeah after reading this, it sounds like they are upping the resolution and framerate.

Fortunately, we have a feature for you, it's called backwards compatibility.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition £69.99.
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales £51.99

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition £44.99 (Amazon average £32.25, highest £39.99, lowest £21.85).
Simple thing to do here is simply not give them your money, don't buy it if you don't think it's worth it.
Would have liked a free upgrade but I already have the platinum so it's not a big deal for me, I'll just get the MM normal version.

And people wants it for free 😂. As if Insomniac is a charity

Then access your digital purchase or disc and play it if you want to play your original game, no one is gonna stop you doing that. If you want a remastered version of it that has all DLC, updated graphics and gameplay mechanism as well as an entire new game, get the ultimate edition. TLOU had the same treatment when being carried over from PS3 to PS4.

Your point has been made and many don't agree with you. No one is forcing you to buy this, if this truly is a problem for you your original ps4 spiderman will work fine. If you truly are intended to buy a PS5 then vote with your wallet, otherwise you come across to the rest us as another entitled Karen.

No I'm not trying to insult you, I think you need to realise you have a tendency to argue a point beyond what is considered reasonable or debatable.

You make good points, but it will fall on deaf ears. He's gonna tell you to "think about it". I burned his ass hard enough he put me on his ignore list. Now I'm chillin rent free.

Nah its about the Dolby audio. PS5 will probably just support HDR10. Its good enough.

I disagree with this. I understand not licensing Dolby Atmos/Vision for cost reasons but Vision is such an improvement over HDR10 that it would suck not to have support.

If they do stick with HDR10 I hope theres some degree of standardization so the implementations aren’t so inconsistent.
