PS5 only gamers, assume all Bethesda games go exclusive. What now?

PC? XSX?

I think if this exclusive scenario eventually plays out, that the Xbox series S is a decent option. It'll likely be dirt cheap by the time anything remotely good comes from Bethesda next gen. Its $300 now, and with discounts you're looking at 250 next year easy, maybe 200 over the next year or two.

If that theoretically happened and I wanted to actually play one, I'd just get it on PC. Can't justify a 3rd console in my entertainment center. The only way I'd get an Xbox over a PS in the current state would be if they did something like acquire exclusivity on an IP like Final Fantasy.

I’ll live just fine? 1000s of games a year so I won’t lose any sleep. Or just buy on pc, or buy a series S? I don’t understand everybody talking like you can only own and support one console

Their games are going to be on PC, also given MS's record, I wouldn't be surprised if they publish some on PS5.

Its been a long long while since I've played a Bethesda game. I could care less.

Its cause most of em are FPS and most FPS games make me 🤢

It’s been a while since Bethesda released a big time really good RPG. If Starfield is a true GOTY type of thing, then it might time to finally build a PC or at least cheap out and get a Series S.

leads to fear. Fear leads to xbox.
Yea people also suggesting that bathesda and MS want to miss out on sony money is.....wel jarring. Thats what happens when your market leader, you cut out more than half the market

I'm glad that I haven't played Fallout or Elder Scrolls games so this doesn't affect me. Good that they didn't buy Warner's gaming divison.

Life goes on.

When one iterative first person shooter becomes exclusive, another iterative first person shooter takes its place.

When one franchise falls from grace into a disjointed GaaS another takes its place

When one beloved RPG franchise is still years away from any real news, you wait and see platform sales numbers and that will decide if it is going to wind up a multiplatform release.

I figure some titles will make it still to Playstation. Microsoft has to fund GamePass AAA tier somehow. And what better way than have the users of the competition foot the bill with secondary platform releases?

It's a huge move, but I was never into their games.

I tried Wolfenstein , Doom, Elder Scrolls, and fallout 4 this gen, but I stopped playing after 1-2 hours. Their games are just not for me.

play the game because they will be on every system like everything is

no idea why people think the next Fallout or Skyrim or going to be an Xbox exclusive lol.

console wars have let people delude themselves onto thinking the silliest things.

i played many of them. they are all old games. that's why people freaking out over this "coup" idgi these are all old ass games everyone has played for free on PSNow for years.

I only really played Doom and liked it this gen, and even that i did on PC so for me nothing it's lost.
Big deal if they are exclusive tho, those are big franchises.

I'm sticking with Sony and the PS5.
To be honest: Right now I don't see a reason to buy a XSX tomorrow. In the future it may very well be a valid option, depending on the course MS will follow with the acquisition.

Time to pretend we never cared about Bethesda.

Could you stop with this pathetic fanboy bullshit?
Many people we're pretty anti-Bethesda the last few months, especially regarding the mediocre Fallout 4 (in comparison to part 3), the lackluster Fallout 76 and the terrible Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

Downplaying their valid complains just because you saw 1-2 whiny Sony fans is so pitiful, you should be ashamed of yourself.

I dont care most Bethesda enough to be sad about it.

I just dont buy them if they come to game pass + PS5. Fuck the devs if they think that I would pay more than 1-5€ if they think it is almost free to play on pc/xbox.

And if they are not coming to PS5 = not a huge loss

If the XSS drops to $250-200 by 2022 and you don't own two consoles.... you're playing yourself

No sane person pays for 2 subscriptions of same type (music/movies/gameservices). Ps+ is enough, gamepass would 3-5* monthly cost from 3-5€ to 17-20€ because game pass costs 13€. Too much for 2nd system.

If digitals are super cheap, then maybe

So xss is useless as second system, unless digital games are really cheap.

Physical xbox games are half free because it is so unpopular, but csnt have discs with xss

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
Doesn't affect me since I'm not interested in Bethesda games.

I'm only interested in GhostWire: Tokyo from their lineup.

I'm interested in what id Software and Arkane put out and I'm assuming that their games will be availqble on PC anyway. Outside of Prey and the Doom games, Bethesda has been slipping this gen. I'm sure they'll bounce back but for now this doesn't affect me at all.
