Because of the double standards. Demon Souls is a remaster and spiderman MM is available on PS4.
Why are those countable but Forza H4, GEARS 5, tactics, sea of thieves, and a dozen others that have been upgraded not counted.
Then people talk about back compatibility being pointless but I bet one of the best selling games on the ps5 is cyberpunk.
As I said at the start, the only people saying the xbox has no games are the fanboys that have no intention of getting one. Gamepass has a ton of games and many that are rated extremely high. I have so many good quality games I want to play im actually having to plan when I'm going to play them. If the xbox isn't for you, fair enough.

I mainly game on PC but I'm excited for a lot of Xbox games. Halo, STALKER 2, Scorn, Starfield, The Elder Scrolls 6, Hellblade 2, Fable and more Yakuza games. Microsoft needs to look into renting fromsoft to develop an exclusive game for them and they'll have a solid line up for the next 5 years

Exclusive next gen games that matter at the moment are Demon souls and astroboy. Other than that every next gen only game is mediocre. Spiderman is cross gen so that takes it out of the conversation. No, xbox has no Exclusive next gen title thats great, but that's fine. Both systems are heavily relying on BC, especially with cyberpunk now.

Most people say that 0 is one of the best and I think those two are of the same quality, so overall I would say it's a damn good Yakuza game.

It's not a double standard. If MS launched XSX with a remake of the quality of Demon Souls, people would have loved it. A full remake of, say, Fable or Lost Odyssey that took 100% advantage of the brand new hardware would have been awesome. Patches on last-gen games are not equivalent, especially when they are for games that people don't really care about (Gears 5) or actually remove graphical features from the One X games (Forza Horizon 4).
Spiderman MM is available on PS4 but it is also a brand new game, and it takes advantage of features on the hardware in a way that, to my knowledge, no first party MS patches are doing. If Sony just released a 4K version of the base game for PS5, you would have a point, but they also made a brand new title.
Oh and there is also Astro which takes advantage of the new hardware, is exclusive, and is a free pack-in game.
Look, if 343 actually delivered with Halo Infinite, MS wouldn't be in this mess, but MS also made the mistake of relying on 343 to deliver in the first place.

Yeah just adding some AF and increasing resolution is nice but the result will be nothing comparable to Demons Souls PS5.
People were hyped for the Master Chief Collection and rightfully so, but Microsoft shit the bed.

I totally agree with you everybody has different tastes, and in reality I do think it is the only valid argument about why you want to buy X or Y console...Simply because I like their games more...And that's the only inattackable argument.
However don't you think there's been a lot of downplay about sony games from certain members?

The theory is that with a library that will be identical with 3rd party games, the first party/exclusives are what will set them apart, draw ppl in more. The first party games will, should tap into the specs, power of the console more.
Game pass is a draw, right? Its an exclusive service. If it can apply to services, why cant it apply to individual games?

Have you played South Park: The Stick of Truth or any Mario & Luigi RPG game? It's pretty similsr to those.
I liked it. It's not the most depth you are going to find in a battle system but it's fun for sure, and it even gets difficult later on.

At least half of these games are still in early (or very early) development and the chances of seeing them in 2021 are slim to none. I mean it's great that Microsoft is making moves to ensure that they will get more exclusives down the road, but the situation won't change drastically in the next ~12 months.Look at the first row and then work you way down row by row. People would be reacting well if Xbox actually had a next gen game, which they dont.
In the meantime Demon Souls is the best looking game ever made, even if you consider cyberpunk to be better looking, its still an incredible looking game.

Gamepass is great, but you're essencially playing old games, that most have already played. Xbox SX in its current state is a dud, its a console that plays old games, thats it. They should have planned for a decent lineup, because this will hurt Xbox hard in the long term.

I know a lot of Xbox owners say they're not fans of 'cinematic Playsation games'. But I think it's fair to say many gamers aren't buying next gen machines for games like Call of Sea and Gears Tactics, they simply don't appeal to a lot of people. Especially when Microsoft when so hard on the power angle in their marketing.

The Xbox Series apparently had the best launch ever for Xbox and with Game Pass and all the studios they bought, i really doubt it will sell less than the Xbox One, it's also assuming everyone cares for exclusives, a lot of people really just play multiparty games.

I have enjoyed my Series X more than my PS5 just because I have so much to play with Games Pass alone.
Once I beat Spiderman MM I barely turn on my PS5 because that and demon souls are the only games I am interested in and I refuse to play $70 for Demon souls so I am waiting on a deal for that game.
The fanboy nonsense is sad because people are really missing out on actually playing video games because they "keep trying to pick a side" which does not help them in the long run.

They spend so mutch time in NXgamer and DF comparison threads talking about how a few frames, muzzle flashes here and there make the PS5 superior. And then they try to say that the only thing that makes the PS5 and PC gaming different is the price.

This has nothing to do with what I said. Xbox posters are using arguments like Spider-Man Miles Morales is DLC and Demon’s Souls is a PS3 remaster as a crutch to make it look better for Series X having no games.
In 2021 when 5 new PS5 exclusives come out what will the next crutch be? I don’t care if you don’t like PS games, I care that disingenuous arguments are used to make the PS5 and Xbox situations appear as worse as each other when they aren’t.
