The game is $33 on GreenManGaming, during these Steam sales I always compare prices with other stores cause more often than not they carry better prices.

Looks like I made the right choice grabbing Deus Ex. Only played the first mission and wow at the liberty (no pun intended) this game offers to the player, and all the multiple ways of achieving your objectives.
The music is also good, and playing with the mod GMDX really helps with the graphics and some mechanics, like improved AI.
So yeah, pretty happy with it. Only 0'97€ and I already like it more than Human Revolution.

No problem dude. Like A Dragon has a new cast of characters and a fresh new story. In fact it was my first Yakuza and I enjoyed it quite a lot.
You might miss some references, but nothing important at all.

I just hit 700hours of playtime on this myself and I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone even mildly curious about immersive and atmospheric shooters. Some of the most fun (and frustrating) gunplay as well that just makes me keep coming back for more rage and laughter. It's getting more and more popular and the recent update has been really good as well. I just wish they could get their servers unborked as right now the perfomance is kind of inexcusable what with how bad it can get.

That's a great recommendation. For anyone that haven't played it, it's a beautiful metroidvania/pinball and me being a complete sucker for 2D graphics was almost in tears because of all the parallax layers at the easternmost tip of the island.
I'll have to gift a couple of copies.

Kinda tempted to get Hades but honestly, I'm not the type of person that get blown away by Supergiant Games stuff. So, in a paragraph, can someone tell me what makes this game so good that it won GOTY awards, everyone praises it, etc?

Do you have Stephen's Sausage Roll? It's a very hard puzzle game that is normally $30 and is rarely on sale. Maybe the sale price is a little high based on your restriction, but imo very worth it.

Hades has incredibly responsive gameplay, an intriguing art style and interesting story. It's a roguelike for those who don't like roguelikes and provides enough challenge for veterans of the genre. Replayability is very high with different builds, weapons and skills.

The game is going to sell many copies when it releases on console. It's a natural fit for consoles with it's art style on large TV HDR screens and gameplay.
I think it's better than Dead Cells.

Cool artstyle, cool music, ace voice acting.
Cool gameplay, pretty varied with lots of builds and that requires both reflexes and skill.
And the narrative. Most of those game have nothing, but this game excels at it. I don't know how many times I've fought the first boss and she always greets me with some new phrases and stuff. You don't see that often in those kind of games.

And i know and admit that it's a great game, maybe it's just the artstyle or the progression system, i don't know...

I really like Dead Cells. Love the art style and combat. Just think Hades is on another level.
It's the standard now by which I judge other games like this. It's one of my GOTY.

The genre is full of great titles and on pc they come out like every month or two.

I don't usually like bullet hell type of roguelite (like enter the gungeon), but i really liked abyss, the ost is very nice and i had some builds so powerfull that my 2070super reached single digit frames with all the shit on screen, also the gameplay is tight, on gamepass you can try a lot of these games.
Have you played wizard of legends, that one has a fuckload of different spells.

I'm picky too, but when i tried gamepass for 1 euro i tried a lot of them to decide what to buy.
I bet you are like me and you love a robust sense of progression and a good core combat.
On steam you can try the demo of synthetik, it's called synthetik arena (the multyplayer arena mode) but includes the demo of the single player, give it a try (it's very different from morta or hades).

To paraphrase Yahtzee's Call of Duty 4 review; when it's simultaneously recommended by about four thousand bleating lambs, perhaps it's time to check it out even if you're not a fan of the genre. The art and music, the fighty bits and roguelike elements are perfectly fine, great even. But the core of the game is the storytelling, you'll grow to love & understand the feelings and motivations of Zagreus's family.

Ok, but what exactly does better than other roguelikes? For example, my favorite roguelike (or roguelite) is Enter the Gungeon and I'm not a fan of shmups. I ended up enjoying the gameplay and playing it multiple times because there was a LOT of content and every run felt different. Sure, you could get a run where the stuff was really shitty but then you would have one where you would get stuff that would break the game (one shooting the bosses). Also, although I prefer a progression system (ex. using gold to level up the character stats), I felt compelled to return to the game to unlock the new stuff (some would end being WAY better than what I had unlocked). And after that, I continued playing until I unlocked the Platinum trophy.
On the other hand, I didn't enjoy Dead Cells. Sure, the gameplay is good but I didn't feel like there was something for me to keep playing it. I've beat the boss in my third run, keep playing to unlock the stuff that would allowed me to get to new places and that's it. I didn't feel like using the Stem Cells to raise the difficulty (to eventually reach the real ending) because the game was too hard with the health changes.
As for the items, it didn't felt like there was too much variety and I would end up using the same setup everytime that I could (turrets+whip) because it was the most effective (for me).
So, I guess it's the gameplay and challenge that people enjoy, but it just wasn't something that I personally enjoyed.

kinda unrelated but if you like enter the gungeon, you have to try neon abyss.
To return to hades, the game is simply top tier in every single aspect.
soundtrack? check
combat? check
build variety? check
sense of progression? check
story and characters and voice acting? check
art design? check
amount of contenents for 10-20 dollars? double check.
there is no other roguelite in the market with ALL the aspects being on such an high level.
The game exude the love from the devs at every step, it sound corny but it is what it is.
The only flaw? maybe not enough bosses? only 5-6 plus some variations and 4-5 mid-bosses.

Neon Abyss -> I have played it on Gamepass when it was released. It was ok but I evetually stopped playing. Can't remember why (maybe my sub run out), but from what I recall, it was a bit repetitive. Might give it another go since I have Gamepass, to see what new stuff was added.
I guess I'll purchase Hades to see what the hubbub is all about.

Sorry I didn't respond early. Hades is a much different game than Enter the Gungeon. It always feels like you are progressing even in depth. It has a great story with excellent voice acting. It's not a bullet hell type game so it's tough to compare.

there is a lot of walking in DS for the first few hours while the game introduces you to how things work but you quickly get access to a bike and other vehicles so it's not as bad. i've never been a big fan of Kojima and if you go back far enough i'm sure you'll see plenty of posts where i shit on him. death stranding really changed my mind about him. this game is the shit. it's not for everyone but give it a chance and try something new you might just like it.

At it's core it's just a sophisticated delivery walking sim game. But it's connected and you help people and together make the world a better place. It's a weird game but I just love it for some reason.
