What have you been playing recently NeoGaf? I've had not much to be at so I've been playing games flat out, mainly Deus Ex Human Revolution. I beat 2000's Deus Ex there a week ago and I really liked it but so far Human Rev is alot better, the way you can so quickly switch between cover based stealth and shooting, and first person is so cool to me and the story is p interesting so far, if not a wee bit less good than the OG Deus Ex's was, I'm on the Montreal mission now so no spoilers lol. I've also been trying to platinum Bioshock 2 and jesus is it kind of overwhelming lol. In one playthrough I have to fully research every enemy, find all the audio diaries, find all the upgrade stations, and save every little sister, with NO vita-chambers. It's hard for sure but I love Bioshock 2, people always shit on it for being unoriginal, but I think that every gameplay improvement they made to it compared to the first game was really good, mainly being able to dual wield plasmids and weapons. Lastly, and weirdly lol, I started playing Unreal Tournament 3 yesterday and was totally taken aback by how much fun it is. Seriously, it plays super well, and everything just FEELS good in it, especially the Flak Cannon, it looks like a fucking michael bay transformer, and it just fucking erases people entirely, I love it. I'm really looking forward to Deathloop, and I'll probably play RE8 if it plays well on last gen machines.

What about Y O U ?

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
Metro Exodus. Liking it so far but I think I would like it better without the open world stuff. I'll keep playing tho, the story is interesting and the gameplay is fun.

Also, Nioh 2 releases today on PC! Will be playing that for sure.

Literally played a little bit of Cyberpunk 2077, but mostly Crusader Kings 3 with mods.

I'm getting through C77, but I can't praise CK3 enough, for how engaging it is, for me.

Now I'm going to bed, cause gotta work. :'(

I played through Metro 2033 a while ago, I'll be honest I wasn't a huge fan of it. Idk I feel like the survival resource management mechanics directly clash with most of the fucking level design lol I haven't played Last Light yet tho, and I've been told it's better so I might try it at some point.
A variety of games on ps5,

CONTROL PS5 edition
Demon’s Souls Ps5
Nioh ps4
Bugsnax ps5
Nba 2k ps4
I platinum'd Bugsnax on PS4, it's p fun. took me about 12 and a half hours so it's not really long but it was weird and unique enough to keep me engaged for that long. The PS4 version is total dogshit tho, the game feels like it's running in fucking Windows XP compatability mode and the loading times take like 4 fucking days. I hope it's a bit more stable on PS5 lol, because it was a really fun game. Hows control? It looks really cool I'm a sucker for cool telekenisis mechanics.
I'm on new game + for Persona 5 Royal. Been going through the game and fighting the super bosses when I can.
All my friends played the fuck out of that and I haven't touched P5 yet lol, I suppose I'm just not super into RPGs. It does look rlly cool tho.
Titanfall 2 again, but in JP voice over....Epic game :D
Perhaps not the surperior TF2 but I've still heard amazing things about that game, it's been on my to do list for a while lol.
COD Modern Warfare multi. And I'm not even any good at it. K/D of .98

LOL
My W O R M S R U M B L E k/d was like 0.45 lmfao, you're doin good.
I'm playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon DX (it's very cute and relaxing) and Axiom Verge (in which I keep getting lost...).
PMDDX looks amazing I was actually gonnae buy that but I decided against it in the end. I might get it if it ever gets a bit cheaper but come on it's Nintendo we're talking about here lmao.

I really didn't like CP2077 but I hope you enjoy it.

How is Gears? I've never actually played them and they look really fun.

Been playing Xenoblade Chronicles DE since December, still not finished with it (about 80 hours in). Wonderful game with a really fun premise and an engaging very 'anime' story. The game has a fairly innovative approach to side quests I would like to see more games try. Generally the side quests are fairly bland in terms of objectives and rewards. But as you complete quests for NPCs you fill out an 'Affinity Chart' that at first will just show the relations between characters. These relations then update between characters in accordance with the side quests. Two characters might start out hating each other but end up as rivals respecting each other by the end. It's not super in depth but I felt like it gives a lot more meaning to otherwise fairly meaningless side quests. Also, filling out the Affinity Chart tickles my OCD just right. I mean, just look at it.

Aside from that, I've been playing some DotA 2 (got a small group of friends for that), Grim Dawn (really fun co-op Diablo II inspired game), and beat Inside last weekend. I don't want to spoil anything about that game, I'll just say its a really interesting and fun 2D puzzle platformer with an amazing artistic vision.

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.

Playing some 3DS these days. Donkey Kong Country Returns in 3D, very impressive game for the console.

I have to finish Hitman 3 and FF XIII-2 as well :)

Honestly can't blame you man. It's basically a single player JRPG MMO, I can totally imagine how many people would be bored to tears by the gameplay. The gameplay opens up quite a bit later on in terms of our combat options, but it doesn't fundamentally change.

DE:Human Revolution is dope though. I've often thought about going back to it. I never played Mankind Divided, so maybe I'll eventually go there instead. If you haven't already played it, I would highly recommend Prey (2017). Played it last year and it's my favorite immersive sim from last gen. Mick Gordon on the soundtrack ("Everything is Going to Be OK" is my favorite from the OST), Chris Avellone on the writing and developed by Arkane who's making Deathloop (which I'm also really looking forward to).

I don't know where you're from, but in my case it was much cheaper to buy it from Amazon as opposed to the eShop. It was 20 AUD less.

Having an excellent time with it, even if it's rough around the edges.

I just polished off the last of Destiny 2's current season ready for next week.

I'm flipping between Hitman 3, Yakuza Kiwami, Control, The Medium and AC Valhalla, I just rebought the Arkham collection on PS5 for cheap as my son is getting into Batman and wanted to play the series with him watching

I also just bought Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, it's legit my favourite Mario game aside from 3 and gonna love replaying it on switch

Fifth of February will reach for Luigi's Mansion 3 and probably play some more of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
