Now I know she's not confirmed to be a trans yet. But we did find out about Ellie being a lesbian in the expansion that came years after.

Let's not draw any conclusions over one cutscenes where she was a young girl. She could have had a surgery before that. Her father was a doc and all.
Her father was a virologist not a doctor specialized in HRT or gender transitioning. You’re pulling this out of your ass.

I’m a gay man, dude, who has fucked half the world and gay men love to fuck missionary style. Go on pornhub.

Have you played the game? Did you see all the flashbacks pre-body building? Abby is a woman. It’s not abnormal to be ultra-fit. She takes it doggy styled? Have you ever had sex in your life?

Women take steroids as well, like most puffed bodybuilders who end up in the receiving end afterwards. Actually she makes sense as every person needs to be as powerful as possible in such shitty situation. And of course some just shit post about TLOU2 without playing it or knowing shit. I had the same expectation going in but gladly I wasn't fool enough to buy into the concern and whining and ended up playing my 3rd best game ever after God of War 2018 and Ghost of Tsushima.

Still quite possibly the best looking game ever made
Not even close, the lighting & shadowing is flat AF whenever you see characters in action (most obvious for me in the hospital), and during actual gameplay the model LODs for characters still makes them look like the same plasticine NPCs you see in every other game. Not ND's fault tbh, they went above & beyond crunching the life out of themselves making it look as good as can be but at the end of the day it's still a PS4 game with all the limitations that hardware brings. Compared to games on PC with RT, it's definitely generationally behind, the baked lighting just doesn't cut it anymore but the low-poly models are just as bad. A lot of people are impressed by how the game looks... in cinematics. In actual gameplay it's nothing special.

Just what I noticed yesterday watching DF's video. I also remembered TloU2 looking better when I saw it, but it's funny how memories are. The CP ones are just what I pulled quickly from a flickr acc I follow.

I’d like to see CDPR design a game for pre 2013 hardware... oh wait they did and its still borderline unplayable at that hardware.

It’s maybe not the absolute best looking game but its position as a technical marvel on very limited hardware is paralleled by very few.

Comparing a video on youtube with all the compression, and not sure if viewed in 4K to begin with, to direct feed of CP2077 before release. I've seen CP2077 and it's downgraded to hell on release. Here are direct feed of TLOU2:

All gameplay.

Neither look as impressive as Spider-man MM on PS5 though, but TLOU2 excels in facial animation and expressions like no other.

Nice photomode shots

Now come on show us some 2077 gameplay shots with characters in the distance, don’t be shy

I love how DF try and 'imply' this is just something that only happens with SONY 1st party games on the next gen. It's almost like Sea Of Thieves, Forza Horizon 4, Ori Will Of the Wisp, Halo Collection on the Series X, never had frame patches that were nothing to do with Frame Rate Boost

How about you compare The last of us 2 with Cyberpunk PS4 Screenshots? What's the point of using high-end pc shots and then compare it to a fucking PS4 game?!?

I played both games on my OG PS4. I know how both titles look and run...

I mean TLOU2 turned into a parody when joels brother comes outta nowhere to ask a new familied up couple to hunt down his brothers killer who before that he wasnt all that hellbent on and even worse Ellie agrees. That was when I realised we were in full fan fic mode. The motivations of either character made no sense. As much as I laughed at my own brock lesnar joke Abby was by no means the worst thing about that game.

No, Just bias John
It does not make it better if each of them were to have unique biases and depending on what console you liked you had at least one favourite. John honestly seemed like the less biased to me (I am judging by his whole online persona not just the DF videos), but DF does live on some form of console war so…

Again, disappointing if a pattern is forming like it did for others first. Is this the most egregious biggest instance or are there others?

Also, did not John cover any of those frame rate boosts via patches on XSX before or at least mentioned it when talking about the latest Ori’s port on Switch?

Logic not allowed. It makes you a SonyPony. TLOU2 sure brings the worst in NeoGaf. It’s like fresh meat for the zombies.

That glitch mania would look like a generation behind when Horizon FW is released.

And this is crossgen as well, let alone GOW: Ragnarok.

And people are still forgetting that this wasn't even using Oodle Texture nor optimized:

Great PlayStation generation ahead, as always.

Didn't make it clear that also 1st party games from MS have had next-gen patches for frames that owe nothing to frame rate boost.

I played cyberpunk on pc with max details and it looks worse than tlou2 in a lot of instances (the opposite also happen).

The game at launch had serious shadows problems and a lot of characters were without them, talk about flat image...

Also we are comparing still frame images, in movements, the animation on tlou2 are like 1-2 gen superior to cyberpunk, especially during combat, you can have all the fidelity, high res shadows, rtx etc. But the realism illusion completely break when someone moves in cyberpunk.

Yeah that part with the brother was bad writing at his best...

At the beginning when ellie has nothing to lose he was all "don't even try to revenge him, it is too dungerous"

When ellie has a family and a fucking child he is like "you are not gonna avenge him? You ungrateful piece of shit", i mean, wtf?! Who wrote this? A drunk man?!

TLOU release - WW: June 14, 2013
TLOU Left Behind release - WW: February 14, 2014

I wish there was a clearer idea of how Factions and the native PS5 game will be distributed. So right now we have an enhanced PS4 pro game without dualsense features?

Simps for Amouranth
Fuck as much as i absolutely loved this game, top 5 ever.. it was an emotional slog of a game and as a first run through its simply incredible with all the surprises and story beats, not sure i could hack another 30hr run through tbh just for a 60fps option, i might hang back and wait to see what else they do or play it again when they release the remaster of the first one at least a significant chunk o time will have passed by then, the game is still to fresh for me.

Also utter lol@comparing Cyberpunk Bullshots running on a 3090 to a fucking Ps4 game... wise up

And.. stop with the fucking trans buff women shite already, what are you fucking children? Trans people exist in the world so do buff fucking women and come the zombie apocalypse they'll probably fucking exist there do... really showing yourself up

I can't believe you would seriously even respond to that. :messenger_tears_of_joy:

It takes about 5 min to move around in TLOU2 to realize how much better the animation in that game is compared to anything else on the market right now.
The ceiling is not hardware anymore.

It's money and talent.

I mean, he was talking mostly about graphics, i inserted the animations into the discussion.

Rdr2 is almost in the same tier if we talk about realistic animations, tlou2 is superior for certain things, rdr2 for other things.

RDR2 is very pretty But the animation is a bit stiffer and looks more scripted.
More scripted?! Dude rdr2 use euphoria engine, if there is a thing where rdr2 is superior to tlou2 is how dynamic and not scripted some animations are, you do 10 headshots in tlou2 and you can notice some similarities, you do 100 headshots in rdr2 and they are gonna be all slightly different.

But yeah, the game is slower and stiffer than tlou2 when you actually control the characters and some animations ared indeed worse.

Loot an enemy and watch the same couple of variations of turning him around and going through the clothes. Or interacting with anything, Arthur just has to place himself in a particular position before triggering the animation. Compare this to TLOU 2, it's pretty great for example how Ellie can pick up things behind her while crouching and moving at the same time.
