Thanks!There isn't, as far as I'm aware.
After going through this experience myself I found the best success was to disable the internet connection until the game is completed.

What's it like after the update? And that’s another reason why physical copy is still king. It’s the same with God of War, it runs 4K @ 60fps on the PS5, when you use the disc and don’t update the game.
1080p in performance modeWhat's it like after the update?
Edit: Nevermind, just read your other post.
But wait, I remember there being a performance mode right? What resolution is that one on?
Yes, it’s best to turn off automatic updates altogether! Just update the games you want manuallyI should uninstall and just use the disc. How do you keep it from updating? Just constantly canceling when it tries?
goodwill means nothing to Sony. these games are old and have already been sold and it comes down to how many extra sales they can project base on this new feature. the answer is not many.So why do you think Sony is just simply overlooking this super easy good will gesture here? It'll be the equivalent to having a $100 million ad campaign if they updated all their biggest\best games to be 60fps or 4K\60fps.

i legtimally think this is maybe $10k worth of dev and QA time at most. but they have to show that they can sell $10k worth of new copies of this game just because a 60 fps version was patched. gow already has a 60 fps version. these games simply wont sell thousands of new copies just because they added a 60 fps version. you either already have gow and tlou or you dont, and a 60 fps patch wont convince you to buy it.
if anything, they will sell more physical versions to digital owners since thats the only way to play it.
Because it isn't super-easy.So why do you think Sony is just simply overlooking this super easy good will gesture here? It'll be the equivalent to having a $100 million ad campaign if they updated all their biggest\best games to be 60fps or 4K\60fps.
Oo. New word for me. Thanks.triaged
Because it isn't super-easy.
It takes time, manpower and money. 3 commodities that are not infinite in supply and as such need to be triaged for maximum benefit.
SO NXGAMER STOLE IT????Well you can technically said that they AC Unity 60FPS which came out way before that, was idea for such videos.
Such ideas are obviously free market....cough #rejectCommunism #freedom CON-STITUTIONSO NXGAMER STOLE IT????
OMFG i am SO MAD right NOW i need to go on twitter
What is the deeper insight into this one?So no other source is allowed to make this discovery ?
DF goes even deeper with the analysis even if it's thanks to NXGamer discovery !
And holy shit I love this game. Can't wait for my ps5 to replay it.
No, I mean 4K @ 60fps(checkerboarded)1440p @ 60fps you mean?
He shows framerate overlays over ps4 pro 4k, 1080p versions and over patched and unpatched ps5 versions. Also speaks a bit about 1.03 patch changelog like Added HDR and changed stick sensitivity. What is the deeper insight into this one?
*I cannot watch at moment as flying a Plane.

What’s the difference between the OG and the latest patch version of the game?! I’m willing to bet: fuck all... apart from some minor bug fixes etc.
Yes, it’s best to turn off automatic updates altogether! Just update the games you want manually
Wait... so the game is unfinishable without a patch ?That didn't work for me. The game still updated to newest version on next restart... Had to deactivate the internet connection altogether.
Plus the game freezes in 60fps mode around to 4-5 times within specific cut scenes. So you will have to reinstall the patch play through that scene and reinstall the disc version. Not cool, but manageable.
Yes. I know of 2 people who had the exact same problem in the exact same scenes. So it's reasonable to assume it's a game logic thing.w

which scene? how far into the game ?Yes. I know of 2 people who had the exact same problem in the exact same scenes. So it's reasonable to assume it's a game logic thing.
Somewhere in the middle, when Trico tries to catch you from a crumbling bridge. It only happens in scripted sequeces, never 'in-game'.which scene? how far into the game ?
Well, 1890p 30fps is still an upgrade for me... I played the game on slim. that is 1080p 24 fps
10k isn't going to cover the QA cycle necessary to test any change that affects the entirety of a game across multiple system configs.A poster above said it'll cost like $10,000 to do and maybe 1 or so people. That doesn't sound expensive to me.
Could be here. Man this game is incredible. i am replaying it one way or anotherSomewhere in the middle, when Trico tries to catch you from a crumbling bridge. It only happens in scripted sequeces, never 'in-game'.
My test of running The Last Guardian (PS5) 4K 60FPS HDR Gameplay
I'm running at 4k 60fps via ps5 backwards compatibility on disc version 1.00 version. Still no patchWait, they patched the game?
Before you can only get 4K/60 on disc 1.00 before the HDR patch which locked 4K/30.
Ah ok. I thought HDR came later, that's why I was confused.I'm running at 4k 60fps via ps5 backwards compatibility on disc version 1.00 version. Still no patch
That's PS5 Auto HDR, not original game hdrAh ok. I thought HDR came later, that's why I was confused.
I didn't realize the PS5 has that feature as well. How does it compare to the HDR patched later in the game? That's PS5 Auto HDR, not original game hdr
To encourage people to buy the new games? So why do you think Sony is just simply overlooking this super easy good will gesture here? It'll be the equivalent to having a $100 million ad campaign if they updated all their biggest\best games to be 60fps or 4K\60fps.
It does not. PS5 simply packages SDR in an HDR container by default, there's no dynamic range remapping going on. It looks the same as SDR (excepting minor conversion errors)if your TV is properly calibrated, otherwise you're only seeing differences in TV settings/picture modes. Xbox actually attempts to remap the dynamic range and make artistic choices, PS5 does not do that.I didn't realize the PS5 has that feature as well. How does it compare to the HDR patched later in the game?
I have both physical and digital versions, when I finally get a PS5 I will probably just run the disc for the 4K/60 anyhow.
You need the disc version 1.00, since they patched the unlocked framerate in later versions.Whats the catch?
Cannot play it on xbox?
Less likely in this case. We'll see.Maybe they can patch it like God of War that was recently patched.
Doesn't sound like much of a catch to me.You need the disc version 1.00, since they patched the unlocked framerate in later versions.
and 1.0 does not have hdr. It's not worth it. Just play patched at 30Unfortunately, there are a few spots in the game where 1.0 freezes. So you either need to patch the game in order to advance then uninstall while keeping the save progress and install again while the PS5 is offline. I was too lazy to do that so I went back to 30hz.
I'm already a good chunk through, just thought about jumping back on PS5 and finishing. Hopefully the rest of the game isn't too buggy.Unfortunately, there are a few spots in the game where 1.0 freezes. The first of them being the demo they showed at e3. So you either need to patch the game in order to advance then uninstall while keeping the save progress and install again while the PS5 is offline. I was too lazy to do that so I went back to 30hz.
