Well, they fixed jack shit tho.
I hope the DLC fails hard.anyone expecting them to have completely reworked the game: that's not happened. the game has received loads of patches (https://cyberpunk2077.wiki.fextralife.com/Patch+Notes) and i'd say the game is where it should've been at launch at least in terms of having no major bugs or crashes. performance is probably as good as it's ever gonna get on PS4.
60% of developers are working on new content for the game and 40% on bug fixes. we'll soon likely hear about free DLC which should hopefully add a lot more content and maybe add some gameplay/QoL changes. a potential leak shows they could be called:
Body of Chrome - could be an appearence editor
Rides of the Dark Future - sounds like more cars
The Relic - possibly a mission
Neck Deep - possibly a mission
Night City Expansion - maybe a new map area or more accessible areas in the existing map
Ripperdocs Expansion - new body mods
Bodyshops Expansion - moddable cars?
Gangs of Night City - enhanced gangs and/or new missions
"next gen" update/release will likely happen in a few months. paid expansions look like they've been pushed in to 2022. could be 2 or 3 paid expansions
Good jobNo problem. Ask me anytime.
It's just politics. Sony wanted to send a message to other devs that they'd be severely punished if they tried to pull something like this.I really wonder what huge changes were made that justify the game coming back on the Store.
Sony: We don't allow trash into our store.
Also Sony (from today):
Two wrongs don’t make a right?CDPR took people's money knowing that they were lying to their faces about what game they were delivering and the state it was in.
It goes both ways.
Who said they did? I'm just pointing out how you can't demonise people getting a refund which was their right as a customer when CDPR misled, lied and abused the trust of their fanbase. Two wrongs don’t make a right?
This post is suspect especially in light of recent events.anyone expecting them to have completely reworked the game: that's not happened. the game has received loads of patches (https://cyberpunk2077.wiki.fextralife.com/Patch+Notes) and i'd say the game is where it should've been at launch at least in terms of having no major bugs or crashes. performance is probably as good as it's ever gonna get on PS4.

I know, it just shows how two faced they are when they receive the blowback themselves from the refund requests. I really wouldn't mind if they went back to doing proper quality checks and blocking all games (temporarily or for good) below a certain standard. The difference is that nobody will buy those games you showed and Cyberpunk was one of the most hyped games of all time. The amount of messages and refund requests that SONY saw itself confronted with was just too much.
The person demonized decided to play through the whole game before getting a refund. I think thats an easy criticism to make of anyone.Who said they did? I'm just pointing out how you can't demonise people getting a refund which was their right as a customer when CDPR misled, lied and abused the trust of their fanbase.
You didn't read his post did you.The person demonized decided to play through the whole game before getting a refund. I think thats an easy criticism to make of anyone.
I see the clarification made after the original post. That makes sense. It wasn’t in the original post I read. You didn't read his post did you.
He put his refund request in, then played the game after no contact from Sony over his refund and confusion over whether he would get it or not, once Sony finally granted his refund he had already completed the game.

It's actually really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it on PC and was upset there wasn't more, like an online mode or something, possibly GTA:O style.I hope I'm wrong then, because despite the backlash the game got at launch, I am really looking forward to playing this game I've kept myself away from anything story related.
Didn't they delay the next gen versions? How do you know it isn't a pre-order page for a PS5 version which is going to be listed soon? The next-gen versions are surely getting close, at this stage. Sony may well allow the next gen version as it won't have the performance issues, yet still refuse to allow the PS4 version to return.
You tell that big ol' meanie Jimbo, SafeOrAlone means business!!!I'm going to buy it and ask for a refund just to trigger Sony.

I guess I triggered you instead! You tell that big ol' meanie Jimbo, SafeOrAlone means business!!!
And you!The difference is that those games aren't falsely advertising themselves in the same way that cyberpunk did.
You can even watch trailers for games like those and life of a black tiger, you can see exactly what you will end up with.
Hope they tell you to get stuffed.
I'm not triggered mate, just baffled at your motives, it doesn't bother me how you waste your days! I hope you enjoy talking to the awful PS Customer Service!I guess I triggered you instead!
Could have fooled me!I'm not triggered mate, just baffled at your motives, it doesn't bother me how you waste your days! I hope you enjoy talking to the awful PS Customer Service!
No point getting triggered man, too much in life to be happy about! I hope you and your loved ones are all doing well and keeping safe in these times!Could have fooled me!
Suit yourself, I'm waiting 5 years to play on a 7090tiNah you can keep it, I'll play it on a 5080 in 3 years.
Most friends that mention the game, say they really enjoyed it despite the bugs and issues. It's actually really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it on PC and was upset there wasn't more, like an online mode or something, possibly GTA:O style.
same , by the time its sorted , p5 addition will release. i have tried to stay away from the bug vids and any vids of it and complaints , wait till its sorted , then make my own opinion.I'm probably alone, but I'm very interested in CP2077 on PS5, not sure whether to wait for the next-gen patch or to buy it as soon as it is available. Eventually they will continue to correct it, just as other companies have continued to correct their games, such as Battlefront 2, No Man's Sky and Fallout 76. Even The Witcher 3 is a game that required a lot of post launch work.
I played it D1 on a PS4 and I honestly think people are underselling how much of a dumpster fire that game was.The hyperbole about cyberpunk is too much, I finished the game and it is fantastic, I haven't encounter more bugs than your typical UBI or EA game, actually I had more gamebreaking bugs in whatch dogs legion than Cyberpunk, I guess those game bugs video complications have harmed the game too much..... And people that haven't even played the game judge the final game based on them.....

It is. It's like going to a restaurant, ordering a steak, finishing your meal, then going up to the manager and saying it tasted like shit and you want your money back.
