Congrats GTS to reach the 15 million milestone.
It happened some days ago.

Let's break the actual numbers:

• 15,137,366 registered players accounts.
• 515,640 beta only accounts.
• 36,981 deleted accounts (banned?).
• 14 status 255 accounts (I don't know what are these).
• 15,653,020 total www.gran-turismo.com accounts (includes beta, status 255 and registered accounts).

The latest GTS profile number I extracted was 16690000 created on December 15 and you can see it here: https://www.gran-turismo.com/us/gtsport/user/profile/16690000/overview (right now it is over 16700000 already so at least 10k players more than my last count).

I will update soon my thread with the country breakdown.

PS. For these curious at the time I finished that post the profile number counter was at 16701026 (it starts at 1000000).

So I play helping my child against my nephew that can play alone (6 years old).

Horizon and GT have barely anything in common except having cars in then. It’s like comparing Flight Simulator to Ace Combat.

Keep GT being the hardcore simulator and bring the colours, open world and mindless fun through something else.

It was selling for like 7 euros or something very recently on the store. Could be that.

Good idea - if you have a Switch, MK8 also has an assisted mode for kids where the Kart won’t allow itself to go off the course etc. That’s what I’m doing with my lad but he just wants ‘pew pew’ all the time (Metroid Dread )

Well, GTS is the best online racing game of the PS4 gen but it was sold for 19 bucks one month after it launched. Its when I bought it, right before the update came out. Even Sony slashed its price on the PS Store by then.

you can have few accounts for a single game copy, number of real users is probably around 10 milions

People are missing on a huge opportunity for not making anything like a Blur successor. I still play it on the private servers. The game is fun as heck but the drift mod is super broken that it's only thing played in high level races.
