First Light is basically a stand alone expansion for Second Son.
So that would depend on if you like Second Son. It takes place in the same location, has a recurring character as the protagonist and similar powers to the main Second Sun game.

I wuldn't mind second son on PC. The game looked great for 2014. Hell still looks better than a lot of open world games today. Would be great at 4k 60 or more with higher res textures/shadows 16xAF on PC.
And for some reason I can tolerate the Ubisoftian game design in these superhero type games because transversal is fun.

I hope they reboot the series with Cole and Zeke (or at least Cole), he was such a good character and I loved the gameplay especially in 2.
Bought Second Son years later but I hated it and never finished it, maybe the MC becomes better later but I just couldn’t play as this little teenage shit.

And I had the same thought. The “fall” of Infamous? I thought second son was a big success. The very idea of the video is a lie.
Sometimes game series run their course. It’s one of the things Sony does right. You get a few games in a series and they move on. That way you’re not getting the same thing over the course of 20 years

I don't see anything about Sony being upset about Second Son being the fastest selling InFamous in series history and the best selling.
They are so mad, they gave them the biggest budget ever to do Ghost Of Tsushima? So Sony is upset at Second Son being the best selling Sucker Punch game at the time is what you are telling me?
So I think its not as cut and dry as you think. Yes, some titles do poorly and you see Sony move on from them, but generally if its based on a team or the game being bad in general, that team doesn't get thanked with more money and a new IP, they end up like Evolution Studios bud.
Not all Sony titles have sequels back to back, we've seen several times where sequels come in between other titles over time.
Be like saying Sony must be disappointed in Spider man sales bro, shit did you see Ratchet announced for PS5? ohhhhh noez, well no more Spiderman /s It reaches to this fucking assumption the sequel MUST come right after to support some success or not. The Last Of Us is literally one of the best selling PS titles in history, would be like saying Uncharted 4 is sign that Sony hates The Last Of Us 1 =)

Like the dude in the video says, the characters, especially the MC, are the worst parts of Second Son.
Otherwise it is a fantastic game, especially for a launch-ish window.

Second Son is by far the best inFamous game. It's one of the best looking PS4 games and was a launch game. It was so far above previous Sucker Punch games that as soon as I played it I knew Ghost of Tsushima would be a masterpiece. It looks better than FFXV visually. The voice acting and facial capture for me are better than The Last of Us, since Troy Baker actually sounds like a natural character instead of a forced accent. The neon power, video power, smoke power - they're far, far cooler than anything in the previous games.
