Russia begins Invasion of Ukraine

I am suggesting that truth seeking here is way below using this war to have fun, to feel some sweet righteous hate coursing thru your veins.
You ate up the story, squeezed parts of truth n lies from the infoverse into the version that makes you feel what you want n See this conflict as Good Vs Evil fantazy fucking bullshit while actually cheering up whole world tearing Ukraine apart.
And all that is so you can have some fun.

It's not the World that is tearing Ukraine apart. It's only Russia.
For centuries there has only been one country that is constantly invading Ukraine, exploiting it's people committing genocide and all sorts of crimes. That country is Russia.
There is no brotherhood between Russians and Ukrainians. The relation has always been one of exploitation. Master vs serf.
That is why Ukraine is fighting so hard to maintain it's independence.

And this time, Ukraine is keeping its independence.

Thers is only one truth and fact: ruzzia invaded ukraine. Nazi ruzzia is bombing civilians and comitting war crimes every day. There is no room for ruzzia supporters on this thread.

Oh no... We all forgot it is only you, the genius one who KNOWS how to find the truth.
But not russians, they just watch TV n believe EVERY WORD.

Why would you think that?

News flash - Russians are pretty aware that state propaganda is....(drum roll) state propaganda.

It's you who thinks he is being told truth as it is
Bye in advance.

The hilarious thing is, you think you're the first tovarisch to come into this thread, bleating about 'both sides' and criticising the rest of us for celebrating the deaths of your fellow Ruzzians. Only you and yours are the ones tearing Ukraine apart. But don't worry, lots of Ruzzian soldiers are going to get torn apart by storm shadow cruise missiles very soon.

For all of their territories, as ceding just one inch to Russia just serves to incentivize the next invasion.
I'd like to see Ukraine take back all the way including Crimea, but the Russians would have to be so incredibly incompetent not to hold Crimea it would require ratcheting their current incompetence up to another level of idiocy and mismanagement far beyond the current. But the one way Russia has yet to disappoint has been on the incompetence front so maybe they aren't fortifying it to be impenetrable like a modern well-run military (or even an ancient well-run military) would be.

The Russian insurgency is what I've been waiting for, Putin being overthrown by someone not blinded by ambition is the best possible outcome.

Crimea is not self-sufficient.

To send units into it would be very deadly and have very heavy losses.

But there's no need if you take it the bridge and control the isthmus to the north. They wouldn't even have enough water.

Ukraine played the Russian 2014 playbook and quietly invaded 3 settlements in Belgorod.
Including one a few kilometers from a Russian nuclear tactical stockpile.

Russian counterattack probably will damage Russia more than the Ukrainian/Partisan "Invasion".

This could definitely be the prelude of the Ukrainian offensive.

This would be an amazing turn of events if Russians are attacking Russia, maybe kickstart a little internal strife above and beyond the usual zombie response of "I am apolitical"

Also a great way to distract Russian command especially if this breaks out in more places before the Ukrainians start rolling those NATO tanks over the top of drunken orcs

This is a textbook special forces operation, probably there are just a few hundred partisans and everything is being amplified by 10 fold by social media.

Ukraine AF is doing one hell of a job.

What's more interesting about this is how dumb the Russians can be to stock nuclear ammunition in range from Ukrainian artillery.

when will this shit ever stopped...goddamn
It will likely not come to some kind of de-escalation until Putin steps down, is removed, or dies.

Too much has been thrown into it for him to cease operations without losing an apocalyptic amount of face.

in a way the recent "invasions" are good for ukraine because they make thinnier the resistance on the front be depleating the reserves that will be moved to regain the lost territories, but sadly it will also help a lot russian propaganda, that has been stating that the objective of the enemy is not to retake ukraine, but to ultimately invade and destroy russia.

it's a risky move.

Either those subtitles are completely wrong, or Prigozhin just made some strong compliments to Ukraine. At the same time he passed a certification of incompetence to the Russian leadership.

It was obvious that Russians were not united in this war, with several factions participating in the war, but never cooperating. But if this is true, then Russians are going to turn on each other.

This is why it was so brilliant to send the Russians to invade Russia and then say "we have nothing to do with it", it's another way of escalating up in small increments

Also if they keep progressing inward, the numbers will swell.

Vive la revolution

or if they prefer

Да здравствует революция!

Another Russian died under "mysterious circumstances", Pyotr Kucherenko, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education.
Probably another case of bad Russian tea. :messenger_beaming:

Why even killing a minister of science and higher education?
