An awful brazilian youtuber got keys from Bethesda and accidentally released his review a few hours ago. The video was 50 minutes long, and he gave it an 85.

It's a new IP from Bethesda, it'll get highly rated 90-95.

I'll be honest, I'll be surprised if this outperforms and outlasts games like Elden Ring. If it's lucky it'll be as influential as Hogwarts Legacy.

Microsoft won't announce sales numbers on this one, and if they don't share how many people have played it in the first week or two of release, it's a flop in their eyes.

Looking forward to playing this. I love games that have that feeling of adventure, and I think this is going to deliver.

There's so much hype for this game that I'm sure I'm going to be let down.

I think considering the hype, there will be reviewers inflating the score. I mean as long as it's got high production value and performs smoothly, it will probably score in the 85-95 range even if the combat and story is average. I think it's going to either be very very good or overrated. I don't see it being a flop but it's going to be interesting, nonetheless.

He spent 50 minutes praising the game and gave 8.5 in the end because he did not like the NPC's facial expressions

Seems like fair criticism for a game where you'll be spending like 50% of your time talking to NPCs head on, no excuse really. Can't give us close-up camera angles like they do in Bethesda games and not expect people to be miffed with robotic faces.

Anyway 85 is a fair score for a game you enjoyed, doesn't have to be all 100, if he said he enjoyed but gave it 60 for NPC faces then it's a joke.. but 85? fair.

I voted 85-90. The original gameplay footage gave me bad feelings about this game but i watched some of the recent stuff and the gunplay looks improved. Lets see if they can surprise me with a 91+

Game reviews are meaningless to me, but I am looking forward to the Performance reviews. Specifically, whether the game is CPU-bound/hungry and whether I should upgrade from a 3700X to a 5800x3d.
depends if u okay with 30 40 fps

i dont think 3700x will make it 60 fps in this title. console to PC cpu scaling is usually horrible, and more so for bethesda

Hell fucking no.

If the reviews show CPU-bound performance I'm picking up a 5800x3d before launch. There's guy locally selling one for $260 on FB Marketplace. Otherwise, Best Buy would be my only other local option. Amazon and SenyTech on Newegg have it for pretty cheap, but that would be a wait. We'll see.

First, It will not be in serious contention for GoTY. Second, the poster I quoted said that Starfield won't be a strong contender because of Spider-man, which is laughable. Spiderm-man will be a good game, that's about it. It's not doing anything new or exciting, and it's the same formula we've been playing since the Spider-man games on PS2.
I'm not even that excited for Starfield and loved the first Marvel Spiderman but i agree. It's more of the same thing and while the first one was great it wasn't groundbreaking or anything. It wasn't no Arkham Asylum that took the gaming landscape by storm so this being more of the same will leave it in the same spot as the original. If it was Wolverine however we might be talking differently cuz a Wolverine game made by a team with this pedigree with new mechanics and next gen only will make people talk about.

I hope I'm wrong (for my own sake too)

What about a 7800x3D?

that will definitely brute force upwards of 60 FPS+ 3D cache helps AMAZINGLY in such games that are stubbornly run bad on CPUs

Whats the point of these polls if we cant make the votes public?

Why you want the votes to be public? It's not a fucking avatar bet.

That said, 90-95.

Edit. Wow, Represent. Represent. is one pathetic individual. He went back in the thread and gave this post a 'lol' reaction after 10+ hours.

Game is currently 88 on Metacritic for PC.

What an absolute loser.

I voted 85-90.I don't see this up there with the all time greatests to be over 90 but it will be a great game so I'd say 86 or 87.

Eh. I can see this being 85. But years later ppl talking bout how it one of the greatest if not the greatest games of all time after a few years like Skyrim

It's other way around for me. After seeing some videos about npc pathing, enemy ai and others it's 80-85 for me now. But I'm probably wrong, because people will excuse most shortcomings with "it's Bethesda game, some junk is to be expected".

It gives insight of who voted for what, regardless. We see the results but they are meaningless.

It gives as a good unrestanding on how people are feeling about the game prior to release. Which is the one and only purpose of such poll.

Why do you need information about each individual user's vote? What the hell?
