I'd definitely like for any Zelda adaptation to be live-action. I always find it boring when video games receive animated adaptations, or a 90-minute cutscene or whatever. It would take a lot more creativity to adapt the game into live-action, an animated movie's too easy.

Gross…Should be animated, its the only way it will translate without either looking stupid like say One Piece on Netflix or too dark and mature.
While I didn't think the movie was amazing, just ok, the look and tone of the last D&D movie was good.

I still think Nintendo missed out on not adapting Wind Waker to a TV show back when Saturday morning cartoons like Kirby: Right Back at Ya and Sonic X were a thing. Wind Waker, even if it were just a series that took place in that world and not necessarily an adaptation of the game, was perfect for an episodic cartoon adaptation.

I'd rather have something in the style of 'How to Train Your Dragon' than a live action movie. It's too hard to pull it off without looking like cosplayers.

If it's a live action movie, it's going to join Super Mario Bros. from 1993 in the cringe section.
Some weirdos in this here forum will defend it to the death and DEMAND a game tie-in. You know who you are. Freaks!

Shout out to da viva piñata tv show.

Could be cool if link was actually portrayed as canonically mute with a bigass throat scar in a live action context. It would be true to the games as well as making logical sense. It could lean into the darker zelda styles, twilight princess and all that.
