Some day I will reach my life's goal of becoming a game developer with a game on Steam, and then I will have to make sure to include a tiny little icon for big icon view just to mess with people. =P

That should fix when the games actually launch on Steam.

The first game is also $5. Edit: Beaten.

I know the second one wasn't received particularly well, but is the first one worth playing through?

I know the second one wasn't received particularly well, but is the first one worth playing through?

The first one suffers a little from repetitive level designs and awful boss fights but it's still fun to mess around with the physics, even if the sabre combat isn't perfect.

If it's the ultimate Sith Edition though, two of those bonus levels are actually super well made and had me really looking forward to TFU2 as they seemed to have learned from their previous mistakes regarding level design. Made the second one all the more disappointing when it was released. Speaking of which, the first 3/4 levels of TFU2 are pretty cool and worth playing through but the game sharply takes a downward turn as soon as that's over. I know games aren't made sequentially but man, it's almost as if you can tell where and when development issues started.

You'll definitely get your money's worth for that price.

How is the controller support? Can I just connect my 360 pad and play? Seems like a game I'd rather play with a pad...

Talking about TFU2? Definitely just plug and play from what I remember. But, then again, I did play it on release well over a year ago...

How the hell is the numbers of concurrent users nearly 5 million already? Its seems like only a few weeks ago it was just breaking 4 million, did Skyrim make everyone buy new PCs or something?

Hah. Now imagine the numbers when Dota 2 comes out and the underserved Chinese market latches onto Steam. I'm expecting 8m+ concurrent, 60m+ active users.

It hit 4 million back in September. I wager it will break 5 million on Christmas Day. (Sundays are the most active time plus it will be in the midst of the holiday sale)

Ehh, even though Dota 2 will be huge (assuming it is F2P), I don't think it will hit 3 million concurrent. :p

I'm really curious about the Steam Sales but I'm hoping to be able to play at least one or two games since I only have a laptop, I don't understand specs in a long time (since my last gaming PC, when Oblivion was released) and I have no idea what might run or not on this one...

I'm counting on you GAF, 7 more days!

I just didn't want to go too much off topic, since this a Steam thread, but if you guys don't mind:

Processor: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
4GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Intel HD 3000

Should I add more info?

I can run Left 4 Dead 2 on High Settings without a problem, easily (just an example)

SteelAttack Yes, I might ask if I can run x,y,z game when the Sales arrives.
Thank you all.

I've entered myself in the daily contest a lot of times and I still haven't won shit. This is bollocks. I want to win my top 10!

BTW, I was away from Steam during the weekend, anybody remember the deals that took place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday? Just to rub a bit of salt in the wound, of course.
