Whoaaaaaa. That's pretty compelling evidence. I guess their artists were just lazy and used it as reference, but wow, that's still pretty cool.

Maybe when they were searching for regular elementary schools in America, this came up first.

I can almost promise this is what happened.

They needed American schools and so watched movies that took place in American schools.

If this was supposed to be a high school I'm sure it would have looked like Ridgemont High.

I'm confused as to how peoples' minds make those kind of connections. Who was staring at the poster long enough to actually bookmark it within their subconcious so that when they played Silent Hill or watched KC, their mind went ZING.

I'm sure that's something that happened (or the dog pic), but my god, my brain is so sluggish.

K. Gordon is one of the teachers at Midwich Elementary School. Like the other teachers named in the school lobby, the name comes from a member of Sonic Youth, Kim Gordon.
