I've been able to change difficulty settings just fine. You won't be able to unless you rank up your level some, though. Doing so unlocks the higher difficulties.

Actually I would prefer Ontrac for my Vita since they deliver early
But none of these shipping couriers ever knock on my door, most often I don't know my packages are here until my iPhone app or email gets sent telling me that's it's been delivered

Not playtime though, unless you count some games that seems to be using a similar save system like the PSP one, where the savegame stores playtime information.

It also depends on if the employee really laughed at the customer... I mean, if the employee flat out started laughing and said something that is different. But Ive taken calls and chuckled with guests in a non-offensive way and they were fine...but to tell someone "fuck you" is harsh regardless.

The only thing I like about them is the delivery person usually shows up early. Outside of that, I've had trouble with them in the past. I've caught one of their people chucking my package upstairs to my door (I literally watched this dude do it. Too lazy to walk up 12 steps). And they once delivered a package to the wrong address. When I called the driver told me where he delivered and for me to go pick it up. Classic.

Technically, you're getting "system-locked" trophies.
They won't propagate to your full PSN trophy profile unless the game is purchased.
You can play through the entire game and unlock everything and wait for the game to go on sale cheap to unlock the trophies legit. That's what I'm doing.
Oh well, maybe if they patch it in, though unlikely.
That post and the situation it outlined was farcical enough to just make me laugh. But, yeah, even if he sounded like he was an asshole I wouldn't yell "fuck you!" to him, probably just say bye and hang up out of exasperation. Each time I've called about Vita stuff they've been polite and helpful anyway, even pointing to another store that DOES have a demo unit set up.
I've had a similar experience. Though I think they've gotten better after my complaint.

So I bought Hot Shots Golf digitally last week on my 4 GB card. Bit the bullet and bought a 32 GB card today for no real reason but of course forgot to actually back up my saves before I got rid of my 4 GB card -_-. Thankfully I really love this game.
Anyway my livearea thingy status now says that I just started playing Hot Shots Golf. Again. So I guess it's tied to the memory card and not your actual PSN account or the hardware itself?

Oh, I'm definitely scared of even discussing the cancellation of my order, especially since there's nothing is automated or even dedicated to tracking shipments. I need to contact support with an email for basically everything.
I mean the only proof I have for the order, is the confirmation email.
Oh I have absolutely no problem with waiting a few more days. I'm just wary of mixups, or an "out of stock, on back-order, wait a couple of weeks" notice in a few days. Especially for the 32GB.Meh, it's fine for stuff that I don't need right away. The shipping is nowhere near as fast as Amazon (I have Prime) but saving 30% just for "watching" some dumb videos is a pretty good deal to me.

Yes, not play time. Those will probably be in the save files like PS3. But Vita has a lot more user and community analytics than other consoles in existence today.
Neither screen protector or case have shipped, though they've been in shipping soon practically all day.

If you got a PS3/PSP there's demos of older entries there. I enjoyed it ENOUGH, but I suspect half the reason I'd seriously play the Vita version is by lacking other games and kind of forcing myself to be a captive audience. Assuming I don't just fall back on PSP games anyway, but the allure of playing something made for the system will probably balance that out.

To be completely fair, the memory stick had a "1-2 days shipping" status, and the Vita has an "In stock, ready for shipping, 2/22." Neither of those deadlines elapsed, not even 24 hours gone by lol. It's just the radio silence, and no means of tracking, that are freaking me out.

As someone that put over 50 hours into HSG2 on PSP and over 100 hours into Pangya Golf on PSP, yeah, they're really that good. But if you don't like golf, don't buy the game, because it's still just golf.

I would seriously like to know what is going on at SCEA on Tuesdays.
Does someone stay overtime like every Tuesday? Are they seriously preparing the store up until it gets updated? I want to know why other regions are fine but NA store is so poorly managed in terms of consistency with updates.
This has been an ongoing problem with sony, and it's just appalling with the release of the VITA here.
Maybe we should band up with a petition and ask for a re-haul of the team responsible with the PSN update, especially with demanding grace chen turn a 180 or give her the boot.
For those wondering if VT4 is any good, I'd say yeah. It runs at native resolution and 60 fps during gameplay. Controls control as well as the ps3/360 versions. Online is decent and the people I've played with so far have been pretty cool (not a bunch of douches... but this is tennis anyways, not COD).
