Has anyone tried Metal Slug 1 or 2 (not the Anthology versions)?

What's the difference between the stand alones and the Anthology? I'm only peer pressure away from buying the Anthology. Already have the PS2 version but I feel when it's on the Vita it'll get alot more play time. With my luck though there will be some Vita edition two months down the road.

BlazBlue has so many freaking tutorials. They're nice because it teaches you the game but I felt they could be broken up in smaller segments with more input. A bunch of the tutorial segments are just text with no input, really bizarre.

I tested it out online despite being a total scrub and it felt responsive while I was getting my ass kicked.

Booting it up now, let's see if I can find it.

Nope, no luck here either. People online seem to be able to do it though. I'll let you know if I find it.
Thanks for the PM, yeah I found it moments before youre message lol.
It is found by using the options menu while you are IN a quest, camera controls are not available at any other time.
Weird, but at least it is fixed now, so I can get stuck in!
Thanks for your help arch, really appreciated!

Finally completed Uncharted: GA. Man did I miss a lot of treasure judging by the list in the Black Market section. Oh well, I'm not a major completionist when it comes to that stuff. Really good game though. I kind of didn't want to put it down. Graphics were good enough for me for a handheld.

I do have to say, the touch screen fighting was a bit weak.

Well, now to wait for MLB 12.

I've joined the Vita party!

So far I'm impressed with the screen. Kinda annoyed with having to through the content manager to transfer content to my Vita. I miss the simple plug in and go accessibility of the PSP.

Is there a thread where Vita users can exchange PSN handles? The lack of group chat and messages in my Vita inbox makes me sad. :(

I haven't played the Anthology, but the standalone ones are NeoGeo Station releases, I think, and being made by M2 are probably better ports in terms of presentation and display options and lag and stuff.

I'm mostly interested in Metal Slug XX, myself, as the PSP version is the best-looking version of the game due to the boneheaded forced filter in the XBLA release. But I can't use an arcade stick. :/

EDIT: Wahahaha ! Finally I beat someone in answering a post.

Has anyone heard anything about the Mortal Kombat Vita release date? I checked last week and the date was early April, now Gamestop has changed it to May and Amazon has a December place holder.

Huh?
I only have 10 friends and the friends app tells me I cant add any more?

All this D-Pad love is making me consider buying a fighter for my Vita (a genre I suck at).

The dpad itself is great, however I'm not loving it's position. It should be below the analog stick. I tend to hit the analog on some moves in Blazblue, which completely screws them up, since I've found no way of disabling it. I'm pretty shit at the game, so I'm probably doing it wrong, but still.

You're crazy. The DSi XL is just a few inches shy of being comparable to a netbook.

Vita is definitely bigger than a DSiXL

This. Loving my Vita otherwise.

My Vita is in my town, but Amazon still shows delivery estimate of THURSDAY O_O I want it today, not Thursday :(

edit: And I guess it arrived on Saturday... arrrrrrgh.

They should implement that and disabling rear touch at the system level with a firmware upgrade.

Just bought Corpse Party and the Snooker Add-On for Hustle Kings. I haven't even tried Uncharted yet because I'm not in the mood for Uncharted. It feels like I've just finished the third one... :/

Yea, I go there though and there isn't anything under Hot Shots. No update or save files.

Let me ask a question, and if you or anybody else knows, that would be great.

All of these games have patches. Does that patch data store on the memory card or on the actual game? Reason being, I won mine in a contest. It came with a 4 gig card. I'm starting to think that just isn't going to feasible and now I'm looking at something like a 32 gig card. However, a hundred bucks is fucking ridiculous for that shit.

And if the patches are stored to the memory card, what happens when I want to get a new one? Can I just copy stuff over?

If it's a retail game, the patches can be on the game card itself.

Otherwise, everything is on the memory card.

Anyone figure out some creative game-card holders (for those of us not going DD)?

I'm thinking maybe a small match-box would be great.

So that hori cover that someone else posted a few pages back is the shit.

I ended up switching out Ninja Gaiden Sigma plus for Uncharted. I love Ninja Gaiden, but I still own the original, I own Ninja Gaiden Black AND Ninja Gaiden Sigma on the ps3. Don't need to buy it again.

Thanks.

i already have 400 megs gone and I can't figure out where they went. Does this system not delete updates after it downloads them? Because if they're patched to the card as you said, I should be able to find and delete them, right?
