Nice! Definitely deserving of a pint/soda/coffee (depending on age and taste).

Crap, it looks like the stream I had been watching was taken down for copyright infringement! I'm not sure I would have still been up at 1am for qualy though. I guess I'll catch it tomorrow. Go Jenson, Webber and Kobayashi!

Indeed.

As much as I adore the current STR livery, I still want to see STR take on the sugar-free Red Bull one. Would easily be the best looking car on the grid if they did.

I remember that... but because (I think) it was just a straight swap b/w the chrome/silver and white, the white was too overbearing. Would need to have some black sponsors on there to complete the retro feel.

Woooooop:

It’s now clear the Mercedes DRS-Duct system does in fact feed the front wing to stall the wing for better aero performance. Pictures have emerged showing how the system links the front wing to the rear wing.
Mercedes launched their 2012 car late, by missing out on the first test. It’s not clear if this delay was due to the need to repackage the car around the DRS duct, but clearly the Mercedes car needed some special adaptation to accommodate the car ducts along the car.[...]
ScarbsF1 explains their setup!

Such a smart guy!

GP2 on formation lap. Two guys stalled or something, being rolled into the pits and an extra formation lap is going to happen.

OK, you win McLaren, that picture finally does it for me. Lovely looking car. Forgot about when they ran the Macca Orange in tests a few years back, looked awesome!

Well, I'm up at 4:40 AM and I'm not going to see Practice 3 or Quali...I'm off to go see some WRC action live! Woo! \o/

Hope Quali is entertaining! Have fun F1-GAF, I know I will D

Yep, two of the most influential men in F1 in the past 20 or so years.

Whether that influence and power was a good or a bad thing is a different debate.

Fuck Mosley with a barbed cock. He let the WRC become the mess it is today.

Man, I hope I made the right choice in race manager. Could have gone many different routes, hoping this one has the best payoff in the long run.

More on Lotus fire

"Thankfully a security guard was able to save the drivers' race suits which are currently being dry cleaned as they were affected by smoke. They were a bit smelly.

"Everything else has been lost - a couple of laptops, along with everything required to carry out our marketing and PR this weekend.

"The comms team are maybe going to try to work in the media centre, certainly for this morning at least."

So Kimi and Romain were literally smokin' today ;)

Wow. Just read "Red Bull boss Christian Horner wants more talks on Mercedes's rear wing" - they're just really not gonna back down until either Mercedes can't use it, or they know how they do it. I'm getting annoyed by this behaviour.
