This is debatable, but the fact is, only Nintendo's Smash series have become a success. No other series has been significative.
And this game might be significative enough to guarantee a sequel. I dunno.

Anyway here is the first party female roster I hope they go with

Must be in or no buy:

-Ellen (Folklore) is technically the strongest Sony female character ever (play the game to know why)so she must be here unless Superbot guys are idiots, and she can play be like Pokemon Trainer in Super Smash Bros (aka controlling her monsters in fights)
-Rynn (Drakan: Order of the Flame) has her own fucking legendary Dragon(Arokh) for special attacks and she is a great warrior.
-Jennifer Tate (Primal) a crazy fighter Like X-23 but also she can transform to demon form like Dante.
-Nariko (Heavenly Sword) brutal like Kratos, with big hair and big sword.
-Carmelita (Sly): for furry fans I guess ,also she have a big gun.
-Nix and Kuo (Infamous 2): both are great with tons of moves and powers!!

Kinda want :

-Doll Face (Twisted Metal) she is creepy.
-Natsumi/Natalie or Sayaka(Ape Escape) if Spike is in no need for them.
-Athena (God of War) can be female Kratos, but if Nariko is in then no need for her here.
-Kat (Gravity Daze) game is new not sure if she should be here.
-Preytor (War of the Monster) well she count as female, not sure who you can put huge fucking mantis into this game.
-Angela Cross(Ratchet) stupid Insomniac retconned her out of the canon story so she don't exist anymore.

Do not Want:

-Yorda (Ico) she can't fight at all, annoying as hell, kill her with fire please.
-Elena,Chloe(Uncharted) both are super generic and bland, please don't use them in the game Superbot.
-SackGirl(LBP) female version of that ugly Sackboy abomination.
-Kai(Heavenly Sword) crazy kid can't fight and use use her bow gun thingy.
-Fat Princess(Fat Princess) yeah I know it's officially in the game now.

I know there are some, but others like Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Sly, Killzone, InFamous, Spyro, Crash, etc. don't really have any music that memorable, despite being awesome games.

Although yeah, can't believe I forgot about SOTC lol. That has my favorite video game soundtrack of all time.

Also, since all of the rumor stuff was true so far, does that mean James Bond is really going to be in? God I hope not. It would just seem so out of place. He really has barely any relation to the Playstation name.

The model sheet looks like it fits Yorda more, the model in the screen though is too... endowed I think. Which makes me think it's either a different character, or a generic model that hasn't been modeled after Yorda yet.

They could could be fighting together while running around and holding hands, just like in the original game. Ico for Melee and Yorda for range/magic.

Honestly, if MS hadn't totally gutted Rare, I would totally dig an all Rare crossover fighter. After all, Rare's always been pretty good at copying Nintendo with their own spin; see Donkey Kong Country, Diddy Kong Racing, and Banjo-Kazooie. Take Rare's diverse portfolio - Banjo, Conker, Kameo, Perfect Dark, Battletoads, Killer Instinct, Viva Pinata, Sabrewulf, hell, throw in Mr. Pants as a joke character - add Master Chief and Marcus Fenix, and you've got yourself a game.

I'm not so sure about that. Mario is, of course, larger than life when it comes to gaming characters, but that doesn't nullify the notoriety of Drake, Kratos, Sackboy, and whatever other major third party characters we see.

It all depends on your personal preference. And they devs have said many times that this is for playstation fans
