For PC owners, the first game is on sale for 8 bucks at gamersgate.com. I was thinking about picking it up, but I'm not so sure with this coming out now.
This will be crushed, when Nintendo announces Mario Kart HD for Wii U.
Bring back Banjo and Kazooie.
A Panzer Dragoon-themed course
I see a disturbing lack of Ryo Hazuki in these screenshots.
I hope that all sega characters return. I would hate to see someone got cut out.
Yeah, that's exactly my concern. They had a nice mix of franchises represented with the racers, but the actual tracks only drew from the same six over and over. Ideally, each racer should have an accompanying 'home track'.I'm hoping they keep the option to race with powerups off, at least for single events. A much purer racing experience if you ask me which if memory serves was the original idea behind the game, before they Karted it up.
This game needs Vectorman.
Seriously, Segata Sanshiro better be in this.
Release date is in Autumn it seems.
The fan service here is phenomenal, and the final unlockable in particular is one that will delight long-term Sega acolytes.
He could actually be the vehicle
YepSince Sumo seems keen on using character suggestions from the first game, I really hope they go through with that idea someone had of Axel and/or Blaze in a patrol car. That'd be nice.

Mods can you please fix the thread title so it reads-
"Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed announced!"
looks good
Just to clarify: Not for Wii?
Really? I just figured IGN was confused, as usual. Notice they also sayNope, that's the game's name, your thread title is sadly right.
SEGA & All-Stars Racing Transformed is its name, it's coming later this year, and we spent a bit of time putting it through its paces at Sumo Digital's Sheffield home.

Probably not, seeing as the first one wasn't on Wii.
