"Fist of a thousand eyes!!" The new scans a pretty cool, and it appears that Gene Simmons stepped in as a model for a boss monster, only he was turned into a bird man thing.....

Everything looks very nice. The visuals on the gamescreens are really good, let's wait to see the direct feed/bullshot versions.

How is this different from any other exclusive game? If a game only excist on one platform, then your forced to buy that platform if you want to play it (unless emulation is possible of course).

I saw it and i would say, at least, it has some personality! It's not some random rpg bestiary. It could make the game, at least, being remembered!

Reminds me a bit of one of those giant Bayonetta anemies, except... that's a chicken.. sort of.

I don't think those eyeball are flying towards enemy, I think they're shooting some magic beam towards enemy.

I can't say that I'm crazy about the concept, but I'll probably still get the game day one.

It is a great take on magic not merely being a regenerating bar under your health or stamina bar, though.

Sounds legit yeah if you look at those spikes/pins on the eyeballs since in some anime's that means that a laserbeam is coming out of it (can't remember which one though)

I'm really baffled about how queasy this is making you guys. This isn't even as bad as the new MK, and will likely be just as tongue-in-cheek, even if it thinks it's serious.

Indeed. I'm pretty sure the Japanese version of Monster Hunter has a lot more blood than the US release for example.

I'm still pretty interested in this, if only for the fact that there isn't much else to play on my Vita at the moment.

So I saw the scans and from the reactions in this thread I thought I was going to see some sick guro-level shit. Is it disturbing? Yes, but it not nearly as bad as the reactions implied it would be.

Game looks/sounds really grotesque and gruesome, I don't expect it to become a mainstream hit :/ But I'm curious as to how the sacrifices will tie to the gameplay, could make for a really interesting game.

That must be the slave that finds the book, supposedly your character. However he's skinny as fuck and looks nothing like the guys fighting in the videos or other scans. This leads me to believe that the theory that you play as other magicians from the past is true, so you can sacrifice stuff and it will only last for that mission or chapter. Then you'll play someone else in the next chapter and can sacrifice stuff again.

I really really want to see this game. The concepts are interesting, but I need to see it as a game to get hyped, thanks for the heads up.
