The main thing that I think of when people bring up this device (I've suggested this before, but there's no reason to think that Nintendo is actually doing it) is generally an NFC-enabled thing that you (A) register with your own system by putting it on the NFC pad of the controller, then (B) put on an NFC pad at a retail store while buying a digitally downloadable game. By doing this, assuming that your Wii U is on "always on" mode, Nintendo's servers will be told by the retailer to instantly push-download the game to your Wii U, so you can play it as soon as you get home.
To my mind, this makes natural sense given Nintendo's intent of allowing you to buy downloadable games at brick&mortar shops. But it doesn't have anything to do with StreetPass whatsoever.

I worry that after E3, and no more Speculation Thread, it will become much harder to keep up on the news across the multitude of threads. Some not even on the first two pages. (Too many Xbox and PlayStation games these days).

Truthful answer with Ubisoft is they are just so massive. They have people scattered all over the world down in Morrocco etc.
Majority of the leaks can basically be followed back to Ubisoft even if hard to go all the way back to the source.

Yeah, Voyager was just a horrible, horrible show. I've not seen all the episodes, and everytime I consider changing that with Netflix, I'm reminded of the disgust that I felt when watching the show as much as I did. On the plus side, I'm re-watching Enterprise, and that's better than I remember. Maybe the history destroying Star Trek movie is making me more open to the timelime breaks that Enterprise kept bringing up.
Doubt it's for the Wii U. Could end up being that Activision Bungie thing.

Edit: Only thing that matches my excitement is the full reveal of Pokemon Black/White 2 come June.
Edit 2: And I doubt I'll get banned. I'm not nintendo hater and I'm not a nintendo crazed enthusiast. I'm probably gonna get day one but I'm of the opinion that nintendo isn't the perfect company that some of you make it out to be. But they can also be the best which is why I am so hard on them sometimes.

Enterprise started out dull and sort of dumb but didn't actively try to offend viewers by, say, suggesting that an interstellar empire with seemingly unlimited power reserves can't figure out how to create H₂O from the insane amounts of H₂ and O₂ available in the Star Trek universe. And it really gave you the impression it was trying in its final two seasons, and much of the final season was solid television. Once they got past the space nazis, that is.
So which video game director would you choose to helm a new (movie, not game) Prequel Trilogy?

Yeah. The production values seem to be back up to HG/SS levels. And i'm super excited about the Tournament. Lance is my boy and with these games he'll have been in every single generation. Can't wait for the next Coro Coro. Next month will be gaming bliss for me in every single way. And I get to start my career too.

They're not perfect at all, their development teams are just so strong that we put up with their shit.
I think it's more challenging nowadays for them, especially with this new system and I think it'll humble them and improve them greatly.

How are you guys passing the time? I'm moving out to the Lancaster area to start my new job so I'm busy signing a bunch of forms for my new apartment/job. And I'm trying to get a small, cheap used car to get around--my first. On the gaming side, I just downloaded FFIX today and I'm currently in the Ice Cavern. I'm really liking it so far and the overworld music is the best in the series, IMO.
