A 4-player Yoshi's Island with pointer controls would be too amazing to comprehend. I don't know how I feel about outsourcing the project, though. That tells me they are not looking at it w/ the reverence that it deserves as a franchise. A full-scale YI game packed w/ innovative play mechanics is something I have faith in only EAD to achieve.
Edit: Also, the music. They need to get someone good. "Athletic" is actually my current ringtone.

I hope so. This reveal on what the new game is has me stumped.
Ugh why the hell do I even visit N4G.com? That place is an absolute cesspool of nonsense.
I had just got off there when I signed up for GAF, and now that I happen to check on the site again, it's still just god awful in every sense of the phrase.
Does anybody ever visit N4G or other sites like Joystiq, Destructoid etc? Or is GAF your one-stop shop for gaming new?

It's here, Go Nintendo, NWR, and that's about it. I quit going to the major sites about 5 years ago.
The site itself is okay, since they usually have up-to-date rumors and news, but it usually has fanboy tint around it to get views and comments.

A practice I should probably adopt. Or maybe just limit it to here and Joystiq, they can be ok at times.
And keeping names around has worked out horribly for Apple.

Yeah...or last hurrah for the Wii (although that'd make no business sense at this point). Considering the lockdown Nintendo has on Wii U stuff I wouldn't be surprised if it was for 3DS.

Hoping to be a Wii U game, but its more likely for the 3DS. Right now its just too early for it for a Wii U game. I think.

I'm going off my limited experience there. It seems like every time I visit there the top 5 stories include mostly PS3 related things, including a completely throw away article (like 5 reasons to..., best games for PS3, etc.). Nothing wrong with that, just something I noticed.

But the longer we go without the preview going up, the more I start to think it is a Wii-U game. We usually have something by now, and the ony reason I could think of for the delay is some type of NDA.

I use GAF as my source, since it's more reliable. Man, I used to visit ____IGN.com so much. Ngamers and some others. Just go to gaf. I've gotten better reviews and usable info from here.

Usually the cover for Nintendo Power is mostly Nintendo-game related. It has to be a big game franchise from another 3rd party to make the cover.
