This can definitely be answered right now.
no it can't
I hope your right. Still, eBay scalpers will buy many at a time, making it difficult for the one person trying to secure one.

IdeaMan vindicated ! (i needed to do this post )
- NFC sensor under the D-Pad, you heard it first here
- TV button near the power one
- Wii U classic controller
- No system redesign
- And a few hints about the OS features, etc, spread since the speculation thread 2
I need a tag !
TV controller button on the Wii u tablet?
Plenty of 3DS news coming during 'other upcoming opportunities' - Iwata
That video with grandpa and action figure was honestly amazing, so self aware and tongue in cheek. Whoever wrote that should be in charge of Nintendo marketing forever.
Wait, is this a real thing? I was pretty drunk for the video, so if he said it then I wouldn't be surprised if I don't remember it. That's super disappointing though, the 3DS is my favorite Nintendo system since N64. It has so much potential. If they neglect it at E3 I'll be incredibly depressed :/Plenty of 3DS news coming during 'other upcoming opportunities' - Iwata
Looks like they're addressing complaints about NSMB's boring visual style
So, what's the good word on friendcodes, if any, fellas?
I will never get why people like achievements. They are so stupid and are just annoying.
Also I don't get the big deal about the stick and buttons being switched. I like the horizontal play style better.
Mind = Blown.
And, yet, people don't get that it was self-aware. They honestly think this is "Nintendo's view of gamers." Idiots.
The confirmed an account system last E3, so the friend codes should be long gone.
Even being self-aware its the most G-rated awful skit I've ever seen. More humor can be found in any of Disney's tween based comedy shows, which obviously isn't saying a lot.
smb wiiu overworld:
In my opinion this Conference showed in a good way how the Wii U Pad isnt only giving more features for gaming, but also for social interaction within the nintendo network.
i like it. and i looove the curtain lol.
The right stick being where it is makes perfect sense. They want the FPS crowd, and in an FPS you are constantly on the right stick - for sprinting and for looking around / aiming. I'm sure its comfortable enough hitting the other buttons, I've never known Nintendo to make a controller that didn't feel great.

The additions shown in the video are really innovative, now Nintendo also invented:
-Clickable sticks for the Gamepad
-DS3/360 like black controller
-Text messages also available in smartphones or handhelds
-Videochat
-Online plaza to meet the avatars of friends and other players
-Sharing user created content on-line to use in their games
-On-line service compatible with several gaming devices
-Web browser
I think Sony is going to copy for the PS3... oh wait, PS3 had it before!
Yessss. I'm sending everyone on GAF dicks everyday.
And, yet, people don't get that it was self-aware. They honestly think this is "Nintendo's view of gamers." Idiots.
Um... I thought that was his actual grandfather.

Yeah, not sure what that means and I'm surprised no one is really talking about it.Anyone else interested in the part where Iwata said about people making content and sharing it?
Well it looks sliiiightly SMW inspired. But I guess you can't really tell yetIt's not. You can tell in the video - you can see where the world starts.
Very disappointing. I wanted that more than I wanted an art style change (At least the background is nicer).
It was meant to be fun. Relax.
i think you need to re-watch the video. The guy asks him to call him grampa and the main guy says no thats really weird.
Oh lawd, the 'fun' defense is even used for awful skits too.
Nobody should be defending that acting in that skit. Nobody. That was awful.
Things I did't like:
- Over the top acting just makes me cringe, argh.
- Missing info I dearly need: tablet-console range? walls? Multiple tablets? Didn't expect specs, price or release date anyway, so that's <shrug>
- Classic controller looks to much like the Xbox controller. What were they thinking, lol.
Sorry, I forgot to send you yours. And the Wii U will make that easier for you I guess
Really surprised by this. I honestly think this is one of the best promo videos Nintendo has ever made.Yeah, the video has certainly gone straight over a lot of people's heads as evidenced by this very thread.

Sod off. Seriously. You didn't do anything other than make guesses, other people guessed things like the NFC icon before you, and you don't actually say anything about a Wii U Pro controller (you wrongfully label it a Classic Controller).
Furthermore, you covered ALL the bases with the "no system redesign" by saying it could also have a slight, or a full redesign.
Stop fishing for attention.
Wow, A pre-E3 small prerecorded clip brought GAF down. Tomorrow and onwards will be fun.
need a mario fix?
not mine
