Did any of you happen to catch a gif of the german keeper jumping across midfield and heading the ball up the field just before landing on the ground? It looked awesome since the camera wasn't ready so he jumped in from the side of the screen :D Would love to see it again! :D

Because Italy has tended to be cynical as fuck and play like shit but this is, as I said before, by far the most entertaining Italian team in years with some great personalities as well )

Pirlo + Cassano + Super Mario = <3

Also having had a Gaffer like Forza on your team sure didn't help you :p He was a cunt of grand magnitude.
And yet I think DeRossi is the best italian player in this tournament.

Ah, the disappointment and grief of all the German fans around here really made my day

A shame I didn't go to some public viewing place, would have been the icing on the cake
You sure seem like a nice and fun guy to be around :I
And yet I think DeRossi is the best italian player in this tournament.
He, Buffon and Barzagli have all been great but the aforementioned trio just warms my heart :)

GAF in the past during major tournaments has been insufferable to browse as an Italian fan. So much hate. Seems the way we are playing has caused a lot of you to warm up to them. Good to see :D

I now know this feeling :\

... even if I do now why everyone is hating Spain in this tournament, it still feels obnoxious.

Look us non-fans are the ones being objective. You would like the Italian team no matter what.
For example I don't have any rooting interest and I hated the Italian team from 2006-2010 but I will be rooting for them in the final this time.

Yeah, that's why Bayern Munich blitzed Napoli 3-0 at the Allianz before Gokhan Inler broke Schweinsteiger's collarbone right?

It comes down to how comfortable the players are in their system and what they do to make spacing work.

There's no magic system that beats another system consistently.

Where did I say it beats the other system consistently? Of course it depends on the players.

I like Löw's work, compared to Vogts (excluding the Euro in 1996), Ribbeck or Völler, but it's missing the last step and that since 2006...

Has he ever won a title? I remember when he was trainer in Stuttgart and had the magic triangle with Elber, Balakow and Bobic and still could not win...

Everyone played well, it was kinda weird to be honest. I was expecting a brainfart or two from Bonucci but he played (mostly) well!

Marchisio missed two chances but he was EVERYWHERE tonight.

It was hilarious seeing Forza own the whole thread by himself though!

Italy should have just let the ball from that to go in just to make everyone happy.

Schweini can't run into the box anymore, as he is now the defensive part. Khedira is the more offensive one...and much good it did.

A healthy Schweini could make the run into the box while Khedira backs up and vice versa. The team would be more flexible.

Can someone cheer a sad german fan up by making a little gif of Neuer being a field player in the last couple of minutes?

Löw has been Germany's most consistent and dependable coach of the last 20 years and people want him to retire because of a lost semifinal (and after an excellent qualification and group stage)?

He should stay till 2014. And hopefully he will.
