So, anyways, I capped a few more pics of the Jackals for those interested:
I'm not sure why they have a huge underbite now, when for the past few games they have had a huge overbite.. I don't mind the new design, but its weird they didn't keep certain characteristics more faithful while still completely redoing the look. I think what bugs me the most though is the lack of the plus sized avian eyes.
Damn, I hope its toned down a bit, that reminds me of Reach a lot.

I really wish we knew, we have 200+ IP's but they seem to be just directed towards us. No ones come forward with anything they want done or why they did it. People speculate 343.Org since we asked them to stop taking a lot of community content and posting as theirs. Now is day 6 :/

Like you said, the eyes and the mouth look of. They're also a bit to bulk for my liking. Jackels were always portrayed as fragile bird like creatures. Now, they look like lizzards on steroids.

I don't hate reach though, but bad maps, bloom and more importantly quitters have kept me on H3 recently.

They had a contest on r/starcraft then did this video on stream and tweeted it out. Ironically they didn't use the ones that made fun of paying for VoD but will use one to bash their former userbase.

Sanded this thing to death. Tried to dremel in some details. Need to fill in some holes and then wet sand it. Painting should start shortly after that.
