Resident Evil 6's story is worth 8.8? Resident Evil stories are entertaining but that doesn't mean they're good.

He doesn't have it yet, but in the OT quite a few GAF members already do and we've been having active discussion and impressions of it that last few days.
But on the other hand he hated Revelations which was a pretty damn good Resident Evil game.

Hated the DD demo, liked the TGS demo. Definitely need to play the entire game to pass judgment, but it's the first RE I've been negative about prior to release. I was most positive about RE4, in the meantime.

Sheeeiiiitt..... So Joerg (4players) really pulled it off. Glad he's back. His reviews tend to be unforgiving but when the hype settles they're almost always spot on. Will never forgive him the MGS4 review though.

Funny but the comparison is a bad one. The two games have nothing in common imo.
Review from uhh Totally Rad or something, it was linked to YT a page back iirc.
It got an 80% from OPM Benelux if you guys are wondering.
Pros
- Great audiovisual presentation
- Lot's of bang for your buck
- Leon & Ada campaigns are really cool
- Creature design is phenomenal
Cons
- Identity crisis. Trying to please too many people at the same time.
- Chris' campaign is average, other action games do it better
- Collision detection can be off. Especially when using melee.
They did not talk about multiplayer 'cause they always review MP when consumers are actually online and playing the game.
I'll read the article again tonight to make sure I'm not mistaking, because I wrote down the pros and cons from memory.
