If they do show Pikmin it better be revamped because what they showed at E3 looked just like Pikmin 1 and 2. I'd rather they not focus on that game and instead show us titles that will create buzz outside of a very small community. GTAV, Metroid, Zelda, Mario 64 2/Sunshine 2, etc.

Rather not say this is panic mode but I assuming they're doing this due to somewhat slow sales recently. Maybe they'll actually announce new stuff since they have to lol.

If Yoshi's Land, a true successor to Yoshi's Island, gets announced. I may cry tears of pure joy. Listening to the soundtrack now, mm. Can't wait, even if it's just new info/trailers for announced games.

And i need an HD bowling, i would like to be able to download Wiisport HD.

I'm not expecting Yoshi's Land to be revealed tomorrow, I would expect that for a Japanese Direct or a simultaneous one for all 3 regions...

But if it is shown, bricks will be shat. Tears of manly joy will be shed.

I'm more excited about Wii Fit U than 101 or Pikmin 3 all told. And that's not a terribly good thing. Pikmin Adventures satiated my hunger for anything Pikmin better than the previous titles in the series. I really prefer the simplicity and focus.

IGN is going to have a Lego City Undercover preview tomorrow at the same time, so we'll probably get a trailer and some info in the ND :)

The game looked a hell of a lot better than Pikmin 1 & 2. Have you actually seen comparison pics between the games? It did look quite patchy, but there'll be almost a year of development time between the E3 demo and the game's release, so I expect a lot more polish in the finished product.

This actually makes a lot of sense. Logic dictates they'd want to release it on or before the 1st of January to get the new year's resolutions crowd.

I certainly would like to know what they're releasing on 3DS and Wii U from now until the end of March. We don't have any release dates right now. Last year, we got jack shit from Mario Kart 7 (Dec 4) to Kid Icarus Uprising (March 23). Let's not do that again, Nintendo.

They should put some Pikmin Adventure in there too from Nintendoland. Challenging, fun, and different while still keeping the Pikmin concept. Wouldnt mind online too

Really hoping we'll be getting additional channels in general. From what I understand the news and weather channels are gone. No sign of the Everybody Votes or Mii Parade Channels. The Nintendo Channel would be nice. That's where the Nintendo Directs get hosted on the Wii I believe. Curious if they're going to have a replacement for Nintendo Week as well or just expand the Nintendo Show 3D to include Wii U stuff and possibly rebrand it so it appears on both the 3DS and Wii U.

I want a Bayonetta 2 trailer and Bayonetta 1 directly after the Nintendo Direct on the eShop as the usual "eShop surprise release". Not that I didn't play through the game already, but my 360 is dead now, and I definitely want to replay it before Bayonetta 2 hits.

I'd lose it if that happened. When they announced Bayo2 I was kind of hoping they'd announce that Bayo1 was coming this holiday as a budget title or even a pack in with 2.

Can anyone also seriously tell me the backstories of the Nintendo fruit? I mean, I know they bring them out on occasion, but of course I tend to miss them as they air, and just get the screencaps. What's the context behind them?

I imagine it will work. And you can continue browsing on the GamePad while the video plays on the TV. I used that feature last night for the first time - way cool.

It started at the Pre-E3 2012 Nintendo Direct where Iwata was found holding and staring at a banana for a good amount of time after a video segment showing Donkey Kong's Crash Course from Nintendo Land, but he never actually acknowledges the banana or why he was doing that afterwards.

Last month, Trinen was simply holding an orange after some discussion involving a Wii U feature (Wii U Chat? I don't remember), but there was absolutely no context to it. None, and it's done in the exact same fashion as Iwata.

It's a safe bet that they're alluding to something.

It's not really a safe bet they're alluding to something. Iwata was making a Donkey Kong joke with the bananas. That became an oft-quoted meme on forums, so Trinen just referenced the meme. That's it.
