I feel the PS4 and 720 will be very close in terms of power. Microsoft focusing specific hardware tasks a bit more for OS related items (additional RAM and slightly beefier CPU, mainly), while Sony focusing on a simpler OS but putting more resources into GPU (slightly more power for graphics), but marginally so.

As of now, nothing indicates this.

What do you mean nothing indicates this?

Nothing indicates that the CPU on the Xbox will be more powerful than on PS4, or that the GPU on the PS4 will be more powerful.

What we do have is some solid rumors on Xbox and almost nothing on PS4. We know Sony is worried about memory bandwidth, we know they came to AMD a bit late in the game compared to MS.

Nothing more on PS4 really, nothing to support any sort of claim about it's strengths aside (again) from statements that BW is their main concern.

We know both will be powerful, and probably on the same level of power but we don't really have nothing to go by regarding who's doing better at what.

yup, but they were given co-ownership of it after pgr, and when bizarre went bust ownership moved to microsoft, hence the system in forza.

I guess it depends on how long devs are going to continue to feed 360 and PS3 with multiplats. If the Wii U gets anything, it's going to be ports of those games. Doesn't sound like an ideal situation to be in if you're a gamer with just a Wii U.
