They could make Zack Ryder a top star if they really wanted to. Just get behind the guy and give him tons of wins and put him against good wrestlers to cover up his wrestling ability. They can make another John Cena anytime they want. But they have this strange mentality of paying dues and keeping guys down to the point when they are "ready" nobody cares because they have been jobbed out and been there too long. Also backstage politics/ Vince getting his laughs always takes president over doing the right thing.
They have tiers and Daniel Bryan is no where near the top right now. Example is Cody Rhodes vs John Cena on Raw

Cody Rhodes vs John Cena on Raw was just garbage. Cody deserves better than that. How long has Cody been with WWE? Since 2007? That's when I remember seeing him for the first time. Been there for like 5 years or more, and he's still never been pushed or given a real chance. I don't think Cody's ever touched the WHC or WWE Championship. Shame how WWE doesn't bother to build their future star, because Cody is definitely going to be one of them.

I loved how Heyman kept trying to tell Brock he had everything under control and all Brock had to do was point to the corner. Dude doesn't have to say a word and comes out looking like a bad ass and a million bucks. Although I suppose it helps that when he does open his mouth he usually sounds a little dumb
Brock has always been absolutely amazing in promos/segments when it comes to non-verbal communication. In the ring, as well.

He just always look like he's ready to absolutely dismember you limb from limb at a moment's notice, that he looks down upon you, that you're nothing to him.
To point to Monday as an example, the way he just gets into Vince's personal space and bops his nose, making vince back away, just screams dominance.
Now, he has had some hilarious exchanges on the mic, particularly with Angle, but his body language is second to none.

TBH I think he should have retired at the same time as HBK. The two people with the most wrestlemania matches, going out together.
