As much as I like my Dual Shock, there's no denying I prefer my 360 controller. The sticks just feel better, tighter, and the triggers are actual triggers that I didn't have to buy an add-on for that my 1 year old loves to remove and hide in the most devious locations.

But yeah, I'm hoping for a real move towards the 360 pad for this one...

oh i'm going to laugh all the way to the store to buy one... i'm just saying if they go with that type of controller, the reactions will be funny.

(And really, while we're at it, the placement of the button array as well, for the benefit of left-handed players.)

Didn't the leaked information say that the controller would be an "evolved" form of the DS3? I have smaller hands and really like the DS3. I think it's simply too classic a design for Sony to radically change. I remember when Sony was showing off the boomerang with the PS3, and then they eventually went back to the classic design; granted, the boomerang was more than just an "evolved" design, but I get the feeling that Sony won't alter the DS3 too much. I think they will just make it a little more ergonomic.

Well, I didn't mean my comment to be a riddle. Ged Talbot has worked at Evolution since April 2011. His credits include

PGR2 - Vehicle handling lead and design/balance
PGR3 - Co-lead designer
PGR4 - Lead designer
Blur - co-lead designer

Durango will definitely have the game series called PGR but Sony....

i think they're showing that Feb 20 date to kinda be like "MS, go ahead and adjust your reveal plans all you want, but this is when we're doing it."

i don't think they literally are waiting for MS to make any sort of move before they do. i think he was speaking figuratively as far as revealing specific hardware specifications publicly in a long enough time frame for MS to modify their design to counter it.

meaning, i highly doubt they'll talk about hardware specs AT ALL on Feb 20 if it is indeed the PS4 reveal. if anything, it will be vague blanket statements like "multicore" and "next generation of computing" etc.

Well, there was a teaser image on Lucid Games' site, which is made up of former Bizarre Devs... It was a picture of a road with a sign and it said "COMING SOON 2013" and it was a picture of a speed blurred London Street. So who knows?

Though I wouldn't mind something similar on PS4. <_<

I think since the team splitted and the technology is lost, there are 0 chances of seeing a true successor to PGR.
But a great racing game from another talented team, sure why not.
