This is going to be sad. For the first time ken will not be in charge of a playstation launch.

I am not a hand-held guy at all, but games like Killzone: Mercenary and Soul Sacrifice has me wanting a Vita pretty bad. If the games keep coming out for it, then I will likely bite one day.

Get one. It's an amazing handheld, and I'm betting it will have some integrated features with the PS4. Plus it has Gravity Rush, and that alone makes it worth it.
It's under consideration, but I am probably going to replace my slim with the new 500GB classic white bundle first. The Vita is definitely on the radar, though.

Overhaul of the PSN/SEN will also be announced and take up a lot of the presentation.
No release date (just "holiday"), no specific specs and no price.
Focus will be on OS features and game titles.
Not only will there be software bc but hardware bc as well. DS3, PSEYE and Move will all work with the PS4. (This will be a huge boost to those currently developing PS3 titles. New peripherals will work with old games.
A tech demo for the next GT will be shown.
MOVE 2 will be just like Move but not look retarded.

I actually wasn't ever a huge fan of Sony until the PS3 but their first party output has been incredible this gen. I think we may benefit the most from them being humbled a bit. They seem confident this time, not cocky and I think they know that they're not infallible. Rumors of the console being easy to work with are awesome too. PS3 was dramatically held back by it's difficulty to learn and if Orbis is really easy, all devs can start getting into its guts and having great results right out the gate. I can't even imagine what their first party studios will be able to do with this power, especially since they won't have the Cell learning curve to deal with.
