Can somebody Kaz me? I'm terrible with the photoshops. Here's a better pic if it helps. I'm thinking #PS4 to keep the hype train moving.

That looks....Just no.

Remember in the Project Cafe days there we're "leaked" pictures of Wii U

Never believe pictures that claim they are the console.[/QUOTE]

It is actually amazing that we still didn't get any leaked photo of the device itself,I remember Vita photos got leaked long before the PS meeting.

I've gone through FCC's registers in hope to find a test report or some internal/external photos of Orbis, but nada. There's not much based on confidentiality requests suggesting they've received any filings either.

I'd say it was too early but there was that 3DS dev board almost a year before it came out, might be different for handhelds.

Aw c'mon guys, I need some feedback

I slaved away at this for too long.

Dat Kaz reveal.

You've all seen the teaser video (that I would assume was produced by either SCEA or SCEE) for the event.

Am I the only who thought, at first, the zoomed-in polygons (that turned out to be just objects imitating the X/Triangle/Circle/Square buttons) shown were zoomed-in views of the PS4 hardware?

It looked similar to one of the upcoming Sony Blu-Ray players, the BDP-S1100.
The "cut diamond" design of this can definitely be seen as a guess of what may be present on the PS4. This isn't the first time it's been shown here, and I'm not sure Sony has ever shared designs across multiple products that are also used in their PS designs, but it's something to think about.

Maybe someone saw it but just thought it was a Wii.

It reminds me of 90's A/V equipment a little bit.

Yeah, in some of the "real life" shots it can look kind of tacky (but maybe that's just the lighting and conditions I've seen). The promo shots look stunning though and hopefully they can replicate that kind of sleek look in the PS4, in person AND in promo shots.

I still see a PS2 Slim in this frame, which used similar colors to the pictures of the BDP-S1100.

I think my avatar can be Kaz-ified too hahaha

and.. should PS4 become significantly succesful... we can redo the gif (with Shigeru holding DS and printing money) with Kaz and the PS4

I actually have no fear about the design of PS4. I can handle pretty fuckin ugly consoles just fine (I don't own the new superslim PS3 but even that looks ok to my eyes, even tho it certainly is worse than the previous designs). Didn't our man Kaz say that he checks every new product personally and if he doesn't like it he sends it back to be redesigned. Sonys products are pretty slick looking overall too and I doubt theyd go over the top ugly for PS4. I predict a really safe design. Black and simple.

I wonder how big and heavy it will be. I doubt it touches fat PS3 or OG Xbox.

Size? I'm expecting something very sleek, with size similar to the PS2 or 360 Slim. Apple has changed the game and people expect ultra thin devices these days.

I suppose that mobile chips would mean they're going for a smaller form factor but I would happily choose a larger console over an external power brick (which I think the 360S still has).

Power bricks are pure ass. The Sony wizards have always been able to avoid having them, I'm sure the PS4 will follow suit.
