The competition was Growlanser and Ragnarok Tactics, both of which can be readily found in UMD form for under $20, a good $10 less than their PSN prices. Whereas UCB is digital-only, so forcing a win here was the only avenue for a discount on it.

Probably so but to UB's defense, it never saw a discount since it was uploaded to the PS Store whereas Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time already saw a discount where it went for $15 a month or two ago.

I picked up G4 around that time so it only made sense in my eyes to vote for UB since I sincerely doubt XSEED would put the game on sale anytime soon. For $30, I wasn't going to bite but for $15, sure why not.
