I like how HUNK keeps finding his way into various Capcom games

Have a feeling this game is going to bomb hard. I loved 1 and even 2, but this just looks like too much of a departure from the Japanese charm, weighty controls and zipping around with my trusty grappling hook. However, I will at least rent it or pick it up on the cheap just to see for myself. Hopefully there will be a demo.

Best case scenario: It's just good enough to be remembered as a janky but lovable cult classic.

I'd be okay with that.

Sales and reviews, however, will probably be BAD.

It's not a matter of whether it will bomb, but just how hard it will bomb. Could a sub-50k future be possible? Be still, my beating heart!

Lost Planet was the balls. Pretty close to what I imagined a real 3d Contra game to be like.

LP2 didn't do it for me though. It's nice to see a return to an actual story but I just don't have any interest in this anymore.

I seriously thought that this franchise would be HUGE after having played the FIRST GAME.
I thought they would improve on what was good allready and remove the bad stuff.
How did Capcom make all the wrong decisions making this end up like the garbage it APPEARS to be.

I'll have to wait for reviews to really be sure but based on the trailer... UGH.
Still hoping for it to be great to play.

Ha it even mentions Rig upgrades. This will be the same situation as Red Faction Armageddon, a game leaving it's roots to attempt to be just like a different game. I actually enjoyed Lost Planet 2. I'll still give this one a try though.

How was LP2 anyway? I liked LP1, but I hated getting hit by anything and doing this huge animation falling over and slowly getting up, and you get hit again and there isn't shit you can do about it. Oh, and that final boss was REALLY annoying.

haha what in the world.

LP1 is amazing, it's like an arcade action shooter because of the thermal energy count down, very fun as long as you play it right and not slow like gears of war.

LP2 tried to do something bigger and better but just fucked it over completely, skip it.

Wow how fucking terrible.

There's been next to no coverage about this game when thinking about it.

Woah what? Completely forgot this exists lol.

I don't think we have seen anything besides the original trailer. Have we?

P.S. Very generic half-cut-man boxart.

Forgot about this game. Can't say I've seen any coverage for it. Might rent.

oh yea

that thing

Fall of Capcpom confirmed?

More of that, but with a co-op focus and, against all odds, an even worse story!

This is being designed by a western dev right? Lost Planet 2 was ok, but man the menus and game itself was so not user friendly it's not even funny.

I thought it was fun as hell, even in single player. But it does have the same controls, feeling of weight and losing your balance, which I love. That is something I have always felt Capcom was able to nail. Sad to see it looks like it's gone in this game.

wow, so this is still happening.

It looked very Dead Space last time I saw remember seeing it. Maybe it will fill the Dead Space void left by Dead Space.

LP2 is great at co-op, the best co-op experience along with castle crashers I dare say. There was some check point issues but I think it's been patched now.

If u are playing it by your own, you might not have enjoyed it like a lot of gafers here. I personally still love it tho.

I have no faith in LP3, not even a rental after how much I liked LP1, loved LP2 and interested in EX troopers.
