Of course!
Masterpiece created by none others than great italian Disney author Massimo De Vita,
for both story and art.
I'd love to find the english version of the
trilogy quadrilogy!
The saga was originally a trilogy published between 1982 and 1985, then in 1993 a fourth and finally chapter (this time with aid from Massimo Michelini for the dialogues) was made, a 2 parts story called "Mickey Mouse and The Sleeping in-space Beauty" (more or less, since I don't know if an official english translation exists, I know it does in french, dutch, german...).
If you like Floyd Gottfredson's adventurous Mickey Mouse, you should definitely check out on Tito Faraci's work for MM, Pete LegPete and Inspector Manetta, it definitely owes the spirit behind his MM to the great F.G. and gave birth to many great stories which for once made me sympathetic towards Mickey.... always hated "detective" Mickey's attitude.
Faraci's "sequel" to Steamboat Willie, a 2 parts story called The River of Time, is amazing.
There's a big volume in b/w published by Einaudi called Topolino Noir, with stories written by Faraci and art by Ziche, Cavazzano, Celoni, Carpi... great book.
Sadly, 90% of today's output is terrible.
I like Don Rosa as well although mainly for his stories, I find his style enjoyable but too busy and a poor man version of 80%Barks/10%Vicar/10%Scarpa mixed together
