128 GB SDXC card is the highest, as long as you reformat your card to FAT32 (which is fairly easy to do). And there's no way you'll ever use up that much space. 32 GB is the highest without doing anything.

256 GB cards exist but I don't think anyone has bothered to spend a few hundred bucks to test one. I bet it works though.

So a specific format for the 3DS? Anyone kind enough to link me an Amazon product of the sort?

Also I have Fire Emblem on the 4 GB card my XL came with. I can just redownload it to the new card no worries?
I'm assuming that my account is linked to the actual system and not the card

You can, but its far easier to just use a PC and card reader, transfer the stuff from your card to the pc, from the pc to the new card.

It's also good to keep a backup there.

Well if it counts for anything I'm actually more interested in Soul Hackers than this game. That game just presses all the right buttons with me.

Still excited for this, though.

Don't exactly care for P5 though, real talk.

I'm at something like 12 GB full on games so far, maybe 5 gbs of music and podcasts for emergencies, but then again I have almost every single worthwhile digital game.

totally unrelated but what's that list? (I'm interested in eshop game and I have 0)

I'm only using my 3ds for games so I doubt I'll have issues with space.

NSMB 2, Paper Mario Sticker Star, Mario Kart 7, Star Fox 3D, Fire Emblem, EO IV, Ocarina of Time, Resident Evil Revelations, Unchained Blades (if you want to count it) Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, Monster Hunter Tri.

The only one I regret getting digitally is Sticker Star as that fell in price right away, though I am one of the few people who absolutely love the game. Was going to buy Style Savvy digitally but literally the day I was going to add the eshop points I found it on sale at Best Buy for something ridiculously cheap.

My new rule is that I'll buy everything digitally that I want right away unless it is ten dollars or more cheaper retail. Even then there are certain games I want digitally no matter what and won't buy physically; including one that has a ten dollar preorder deal right this second in Animal Crossing. The other two are Pokémon X (assuming it is digital, I'll get Y physically when I find it cheap) and Super Smash Bros.

You can already preorder this on amazon?
Yes but for some reason the page doesn't come up when you search the site. Just go to Atlus.com's SMTIV page and click pre-order, the following page directs you to the Amazon listing. I would post the URL but I'm in mobile.

edit lol nvm

You can pre-order this at fucking Wal*Mart? lolwut There's a first.

Wonder if Best Buy will get up all in this bitch.

You want Atlus to release their own console? :p

Break Code's probably coming later this year as well.

Fucking year of Atlus on 3DS if so!

EOIV
Soul Hackers
SMTIV
DS2: BR?

Think New Etrian Odyssey will jump over here by the end of the year as well? That's for summer in JP right? What was the gap for EOIV?

Possible, but I dunno. SMT4 was probably a huge priority for Atlus and they might have wanted to show it off at E3 without waiting for E3 of next year.

Smart cookies they are, get the word out big at the biggest gaming event.

Also I wonder if they'll announce anything there?

Umihara 3DS is ripe for them, they did bring Code of Princess over.

Someone got a list out there of the Japanese localizations announced for 2013 for the 3DS?

JUST HOOK IT TO MY VEINS.

I'll probably get Break Code too, even though I have the original.

I played around 120 hours with the original release (2) and I will still get Break Record, so...

Also, Atlus, Persona 3DS next >:| (Not necessarily 5, so put down the pitchforks)
