Which one in San Jose? I'm hoping it's the one down the street from my apartment. I'll probably only go if there's a demo of Bayonetta 2, though.

I'm hoping South Edmonton will get one of these. Which they probably will. Any idea when Canadian dates are going to be announced?

I mean, I'd want eshop too, but isn't there a possibility that buggy E3 demos could mess up a retail system? I know I've seen some people mention that as a potential issue.

Duluth's not far.

Too bad I want no part of wrestling a teeming crowd of odorous manbabies for 2 minutes with a demo. And Duluth's parking lot is a total shitshow on busy days.

Thank you. They are horrible and not all that smart. Why not have one in Manhattan?! WHY NINTENDO, WHY?! Heck use Nintendo World for crying out loud.

I'll be SHOCKED if Nintendo World doesn't have demos. Just hang tight for a little longer. I bet there's more news coming from NOA.

My guess is maybe store size? Larger stores get preference? I have no other way of explaining Arkansas' choices. Richest area of the state is probably the Bentonville/Rogers/Fayetteville area and the Best Buy an hour away gets the demo unit. Greatest population density is probably Little Rock, AR and North Little Rock gets it (pretty inconvenient for those from Little Rock). Texarkana would be third on my list to get it but nope, not even close.

EDIT: Actually I think I asked one of my Best Buys why they always get the events in the area and they said it's because they volunteered to do so.

How is NLR inconvenient to Little Rock, it's 10 minutes up the road unless you drive slow then its 12...................

It does. I'd be okay with it. I'd just take a train down, but it would be somewhat of a pain when I have a Best Buy not even 5 minutes away from me. If only everyone acknowledged Newmarket..

Well instead of 2 in Toronto, maybe they will put one in Downtown, and one in Markham, that would be a lot closer for you.

In Brandon? What? I expected one in Tampa or even Sarasota but not my hometown. Good for me! Guess I'll hit up Best Buy during that week.

Lynwood... is a little far from my house/work, I don't think I'll drive all the way there just for a few games.

As for putting the demos on the eShop, is no feasible, at least not all of them. Those demos are most of the time buggy, unstable and hastily put together code, and even could potentially brick consoles. Not to mention most of the time they are running on development hardware. It's no going to happen (and no, the other 2 haven't "done something similar", as far as I could remember). Also, some are just for show to the media, ie, the Skyward Sword demo in 2010.

Darn, nothing in northern VA. Sterling would have been great. Guess I'll head to Maryland... Wheaton is closest to me I think, but still like an hour drive away.

4 hours on 2 days is going to be crowded to say the least...

It's discouraging me, but I might still go, depending on the games they demo.

On 6/11 @ 10 AM EST watch Nintendo’s #E3 Direct at #NintendoWorld! Be one of the first to take part in the action & play our featured games!

Seems like they deleted the tweet afterwards.

I cant wait to read the reports from gamers who showed up only to not be able to get their hands on the machines due to all the people who just so happen to be in the store and want to see what the big fuss is about.

Yeah, Eden Prairie tells me alone that Best Buy did have some sway in the locations. That location is recent-ish, and it often got midnight launches that other, better stores did not.

Yeah, it's also Best Buy's corporate home. I would bet Best Buy had quite a bit of leeway in choosing where to put these demo stations. Part of Nintendo's plan for E3 has to include getting on the better side of retailers after the poor Wii U launch, and I'm guessing letting Best Buy call some of these shots was negotiated. It would give them a nice weekday boost to some of their lesser performing stores.

Lol what part of little rock you visit? I live right off 630 and it's at least 15 to 20 minutes to the Nlr best buy and that's not accounting for traffic that's sure to be busy at the times Nintendo picked. And its even worse for those that don't live.right off the freeway as I do. Its mostly inconvenient because the west little rock best buy gets much more traffic from what I understand and is also closer to the schools.
