Anyone use those trigger grips? How do they feel? I want to buy a pair because my hands hurt from all the Vita'ing.
I used the PDP ones for awhile until I noticed that they were denting my vinyl rear touchpad skin. Helped a lot in Sonic Racing Transformed.

Reminds me of the Ragnarok Odyssey Asia box art - I think it's way better than the US one:

Also, sorry I didn't get on to add you guys for Terraria - I crashed after getting home from work lol. I'll be adding you guys at work today ;)

Speaking of Ragnarok Odyssesy, I've justs started the game.

Any tips guys?

Hmm I really want Jak & Daxter on a portable but I'm thinking of going with the PS3 version instead. Sub-res is just hard to swallow.

The PS3 version is also sub-720p, which is even worse if you have a 1080p TV. These games were tailor made for the PS2 by programming wizards, they have a hard time running them on anything else.

Don't play as a mage or cleric or hammersmith to begin with (you can swap classes after a few chapters).

I chose assasin so that's good.
What are the reasons to avoid those guys?

Yeah you want to focus on learning a good solo class and how to juggle enemies really. Those classes mentioned are more support classes. The archer is kind of hard to do solo too.

I've been meaning to get back into RO before Ace comes out.. I just keep getting sucked into Persona 4 and Terraria :\

Yeah, I'm just gonna get the Vita version before the end of the year.

So i played totori + until she gets the license, a very cute game! Character graphics is awesome, backgrounds are a little lacking but everything is really clean, other than native res is there some AA?
I'm little worried about totori being a object user, i have never liked characters with limited resources, we'll see.

FYI if you buy the "atelier totori + with bonus" you still get the bikinis, i'm not using them though.

The magic that PhyreEngine could to to smaller devs (well Gust is now KT so it's no longer a "small dev", but still) is amazing.
However that & Meruru+ would be last Atelier games runs on PhyreEngine...

It looks like AA is present, but I could be wrong. I recently started Totori too and just entered year 2. The number of ingredients I'm accumulating is already starting to feel overwhelming. >.<

I've owned a 3DS for just under two years now. My issue with that platform has to do with the terribly designed hardware, and Nintendo's fear of doing anything new in terms of software.

I think you just care too much about sales numbers and what big corporations do more than the games.

just forget about what Capcom and Namco support, you have 3DS if they relese the game you want on it just play it there and be happy, Sony/Vita don't owe you anything and if Vita die it's not your problem or responsibility.

You are telling me that look good to you? really? (this is about Jak Vita btw)

Hi everone,

I've been lurking for a little while and this is my first post here. I got my Vita in Feb, and i'm a little bit in love with it. I'm actually playing it more than my PS3 at the moment. I noticed a few pages back that people were saying Tearaway didn't look good, Is there a reason for that? Cause I've watched gameplay videos and it looks good to me, am I missing something?

this is bad, jaggies-fest,bad shadows, low polygon count, very short draw distance they're trying to hide using fog (like something on N64), and just ugly looking.

AKA a portable game.

Also I get annoyed when people compare things with the N64 thatclearly would not have been possible on the N64. Just look at the cylinders, they'd have 6-8 sides on the N64.

Hey guys, I had a random question. I love fighters, I currently only have Blazblue CS on Vita - I was thinking of getting DoA+ to scratch that 3D fighter itch. I think I missed most of the impressions here at Vita-gaf, what say you guys? Is it worth getting on Vita?

I'm basically trying to round up any final Vita purchases I'm going to make before the avalanche of games hits this summer/fall. So far I'm planning on Sonic Racing and Dynasty Warrior's Next. The other three I'm thinking of getting at some point are Senran Kagura, Project Diva and DoA+ but those three are more or less to scratch that fanservice itch haha.

Also, totally added you guys for terraria :D I'm having a blast playing it on PS3, I can't wait to play it on Vita. Honestly, if saves aren't cross-platform that might be better for me because if I could transfer my PS3 save over I'll get bored quickly on the Vita version and not work for new armor/weapons again.

How can you stand there with that avatar and not get it?

Oh, the cheek!

I know... I realllllly want it but man, those import prices :( Like, I need it in my veins right now but 60$+ is hard to swallow lollll. I'm probably going to cave and just get Senran Kagura first anyway :p In comparison tho, I could get Sonic Racing and DW Next for 40$ @_@

So I guess we're just playing backlogs until Dragon's Crown? Good, I still need to beat:

- Soul Sacrifice
- Guacamelee (that's like 90% done)
- Knytt Underground
- AC3L
- Corpse Party
- etc.

I got quite the backlog :p

Unrelated to Vita, but this is where I see Toto the most...

Just grabbed a copy of Persona 3 for PS2 from one of the local vidya game shops. If this isn't the best game of all time after your continuous hype, I'm putting you on ignore. I don't mind your negativity and it beats some of the Vita circle jerking in here at times (seriously love these threads), but that will be the straw. It might be a bit before I play it since I just snagged FFIV complete for PSP and am still finishing up Phoenix Wright 2 (along with Metroid Zero Mission).

Don't let me down, bro.

.

There are some rumors that NISA is trying to bring Senran Kagura to US. So i'd give them a bit of time first.

Senran Kagura translated would probably make me tear up lol.

I thought it was XSEED though? I also remember the report being only about Burst, which is the 3DS exclusive. I think they can only make money if they bring it over here, lots of us Vita gamers are into crazy niche games like that, plus the attach rate seems to be pretty high for each game, at least if it's decent and or fun.

Anyone here from Denmark and can contact "A Hat in Time" developers to see if they can throw a Vita version?

Muramasa Rebirth in 3 weeks! :)

Not sure if a jump button is enough for a double dip.

I was hoping they fix other things (backtracking, unbalanced boss fights..ect) for now it's just a new translations and jump button.

Do we have any good names for the new thread? I kinda want to go with...

I can't even bring myself to finish the Wii version. :(

Yeah it get boring after few levels, super repetitive.

this needed to be a remake with tons of changes and tweaks instead of just normal re-release.

You have clearly never played an N64 game.

Looks absolutely incredible. Are you suggesting that fog can't be used as a method to add atmosphere? Every single object and character is self-shadowed. Native res, bound to have some AA with that image quality. I wish you would not say dumb things.

I'm playing Blazblue for the first time. I just got through some of the story mode. The calamity trigger and continuum shift parts. Just what the hell is going on? There are vampires and time shifts and nekos and weird robot girls and dark pasts. It's literally like they threw every anime trope in a blender and fed the contents to a machine that was forced to assemble some kind of cohesive plot centered around it. And it failed. Miserabley. The plot is worse than the plot from Street Fighter IV. At least that one was understandable.
