Ah thanks for reminding me. Thread rules are I should turn graphic mods off right?
I've got an old version of the FXAA injector still in my FC2 folder that I put it in a while back to remove the orange tint.
I've always wanted to try the Blitzkrieg games, they any good?
Those are the most (and that's right, I'm not refering to "one of the most-category") incredible clouds and sky that I've seen so far in a game, excluding STALKER series & Battlefield 3, other games don't come in mind right now. They are so beautiful covering the hole screen, giving that perspective of long distance, but it also seems the color from distance is more blue than the light sky blue in front. I wished for many games to look like or have that kind for clouds. ;_;
There is one mod for Fallout NV with similar clouds but I never manage to get it right, it just didn't work. Did you used only ENB ? or with something else together as well.
Man, that looks really enjoyable.
So fucking happy I can downsample worth a damn with this new monitor. Tress FX fucking drinks performance though.
*snip*]
Look at that manly ass.
Its a 1080 monitor, but I've taken resolutions as high as 3200x1800. It could maybe go higher, but it even 1800 is making my single 670 sweat. You also have a 2560x1440 monitor i see? Me to everything looks more amazing then before. Oh wait you downsampled But still looks amazing
Good thing the PC version gets the high-res assets.Tesselated butts in Metro are still the best!
forgot to ask this earlier but how does Metro LL fare on the 780 at bullshot settings?
putting all on max + 2 x ssaa at 1080 is making my 660 beg for mercy.
drops to below 20 fps durring heavy scenes : (

Here's Metro: Last Light at 4k (2160p)
First up is with SSx2I get around 18-ish fps out of combat, and 14-ish in-combat. I played Crysis 3 like this. You kind of just have to sneak. The thing is, there isn't much gain during action scenes to warrant the Super Sampling. It kind of makes some further
away textures "pop" a bit, but that's not very noticeable in an action scene especially with the motion blur in this game even on low. Also, this is at 4k, so no REAL need to SuperSample other that the textures.
I enhanced EVGA's monitoring because at 4k it's hard to read, lol.
Compare that to playing at standard 4k, with about 30-35 FPS. BARELY any loss in quality. Like I said, Further away textures won't "pop" like the carpet in this shot, but that's hardly noticeable in most shots and a waste of focus in Action shots. I can
easily play the game like this. It looks Pixar good and runs at more than acceptable Framerates if you play console games or Downsample a lot. Either way, my GPU never goes above 73C, unless I'm playing Skyrim or running two games at 4k at the same
time and forget, lol. (did this last night, still never peaked 80C)
Edit:
Upon further inspection, at 4K, the textures pop just fine. After downsampling the way I did, the SuperSampled one actually has the blurrier carpet. hmmm
Final word: Don't supersample at 4K. No gain, and a loss in Framerate.
Thank you , still gonna hold out for the 880
but i was wondering how the 780 Handles under heavy stress.
by the sound of things ,pretty good.
