I'm starting to believe that the hype that Sony has somehow managed to create isn't going to live up to the expectations. It'll be interesting to see if they can pull it off. I'm going to go into this thing totally skeptical from now on. The drama is fun, but let's be serious ya'll.

I think they'd probably spin some ICO/Shadow of the Colossus talk in there if The Last Guardian ends up being revealed again. It would probably get people talking imo.
They would have made the decision to move it a couple of years ago. Who knows, but if they really intended for it to remain on PS3, and ever actually come out, the rereveal should have been last year, even if it wasn't going to be ready to next year.
I feel like TLG and Versus XIII both ran out of viable excuses for not releasing beyond their target platforms aren't out yet.

As of now most gaffers assume that Last Guardian and Versus XIII are going to be in this conference even if it isn't oficial.
Some assume that they will be crossgen or PS4 games.
What if they aren't there? Or what if they are there but as PS3 games?
My favorite would be to see them there as crossgen,but I would understand TLG as PS3 game because a niche game would benefit from a huge useerbase, and same goes with versus xiii but would make more sense to release it in PS4 cause as FFXV can move consoles.

Not basically, that's exactly what happened. I don't think they're really in that much danger since The Last Guardian is probably their last game as Team ICO considering that Ueda left and is working freelance on TLG.
It is interesting that earlier this year they said they were waiting for the 'right time' to reveal the game again... perhaps the right time is during E3?
of course they will bring up TLG at the conference, it has lots of fans... but they would be better off giving sports games more time than TLG or FF series. They definitely need to show off FIFA, BF4 and COD if they want to "win" E3.

No, they don't. Multiplatform games aren't going to sell PS4s over XBOs.
It's not like Team ICO is a studio all by itself. It's still apart of SCE Japan Studio. They'll simply get shuffled around to different projects.

Bit sad, really. Unchecked ambition can prove detrimental sometimes. I hope for their sake TLG turns out to be a fantastic game. I wouldn't get my hopes up for an E3 2013 re-reveal though, but it would be awesome if they did show it.

If people think they can play those games on Xbox One only, guess which console they are going to buy....
Sony needs to associate the PS4 brand with those games as well. That is very, very, very important. Unless you want the PS4 to just be a niche product for "hardcore" gamers.

If not now, then we'll have to wait until TGS or next year's E3... agh. I think at that point, it'd just be too much for people.
I think they just announced The Last Guardian too early, honestly. It'd probably have been a better idea for the public to not know that Team ICO was working on a new game, but then that leak happened...
Considering that they've been working on it since then, the game is probably most definitely coming out at some point unless they want to waste all that work, but it's just a matter of when.

Did Sony announce their official livestream by this time last year? I know we have a ton of options, but I'm just wondering since I haven't seen anything about their plans other than streaming on Vita.
I wonder if that would have made much of a difference. It's not like we weren't all talking about the game before it was announced. In fact, it was even first leaked with the joke name we all called it, Trico. Also, it would have been much easier for Sony to drop if it hadn't been publicly revealed. Ueda already half jumped ship too. I think we'll get TLG, but only because they announced it so early.

I think at some point people will just stop caring about the game. It would be in Sony's best interests to re-reveal it at E3 this year for the PS4. The game will most definitely come out, but it's just unfortunate that they ran into technical issues on the PS3.
No idea, but I wouldn't worry about it. They may announce it a few days before the event begins.

The Last Guardian and FFXV (Versus) E3 demo disks.
One week left boys and girls! Gonna be a late night here in Germany, but perfect timing on the most part for an e3 BBQ party afterwork, should be legit.
Still a little niffed that nintendo aren't doing a traditional presser, but perhaps it will let them focus on whats most important, and thats the game announcements.

Probably the opposite, a doc on how they are going to screw MS and all the haters by not enforcing the same shit MS did and emphasizing on the fact that it's a console for gamers not a TV remote!
All the Vita dev kits returned, untouched.
I think what others have suggested above (TLOU Limited Edition) seems most likely.
Great find. Hope they get a nice marketing campaign going for the launch.
