People must have went to some sucky high schools, I went to an inner city one and hardly got teased or anything and I was a super loner. I think I got teased once but they shut up when they saw you had a shred of athleticism at the very least.

I turned 25 y/o 9 minutes ago. My interest in the pokemon franchise just sunk like a rock in the ocean. No longer interested in X/Y, even though I was super excited not 10 minutes ago. Maybe it will be different tomorrow or whenever a new quantitative study is done that shows 25-34 year olds play pokemon. Bye everyone!

I'm not going anywhere lol

Now all I need to know is howmany gens back I have to go to get a complete Pokédex in X/Y , so I know how much work I have to do before launch :p

(I haven't played a a Pokemon games since Ruby)

Assuming X/Y are compatible with previous games, you need to go back as far as Platinum for the 4th gen starters. If you don't mind doing some Wi-Fi trading for those (and an Arceus to unlock the 4th gen trio), you can get away with HeartGold/SoulSilver onwards. Black/White 1 aren't really necessary either, since almost everything is in Black/White 2 + Dream Radar.

So HeartGold/SoulSilver, Black/White 2, X/Y, Dream Radar (like $3 on the eShop; gets you the 'kami trio' missing from BW2 as well as extras of 4th gen cover legendaries for the games you own) should get you nearly everything. I think.

I'd go for a new TCG game as long as it released here. I played the hell out of the original Gameboy color game.

In fact, I'd love to have the original on Virtual Console. And maybe they could do an import of the second one? That would be awesome.

I remember some Koei staff showing interest in a new Conquest, the main issue is Nintendo itself. A 3DS Conquest would be nice though, because they could reuse 3d models and give a full line up this time. Although, hopefully, they'd go with a more open approach, like in the actual Nobunaga games.

I'd ask them if they plan on implementing into X/Y a way of manipulating IVs in a more time-efficient manner for those who are time-poor but want to battle competitively. Levelling/EVs/Natures and Abilities are easy to deal with, shitty IVs are not.

Actually, no, they need to make an Ability switcheroo man.

Nah, leave abilities as they are. Making them interchangeable is just making it easier than normal, and loses the appeal of Dream World abilities being rare.

True, plus everyone is so obsessed with what other people think about them, luckily I didn't really give a crap, never been a wannabe. Unfortunately some people never grow out of that, and continue to obsess about what people think until they grow old and die.

I'll be 27 by the time Pokemon X & Y comes out, and I'll be able to enjoy it happily. :)

I think it's really the only thing holding it back from OU presently. Of course if the rumours about Fairy-type are true, then I'll have to go into hiding for a generation :<

I really wish they had a 3DS XL special edition that looked like this for when it comes out.

Although I think the cylinder part between both screens should be grey.

I can't believe they haven't done something like this yet, such a simple design but a huge impact for fans.

I'm kind of surprised they haven't made cases for phones or rather clamshell cases for the 3DS.

Hopefully when XY rolls around we'll get Yveltal and Xerneas versions like the Resh/Zek DSiXLs.

I got the Dialga/Palkia DS a while back and it's still one of my favorite consoles.

Im 28 and playing my first Pokemon in the last couple weeks with HeartGold. Its great and stes me up to be excited for this presentation. Hopefully we get a good Pokemon WiiU game out of it!

When I played the Black and White demo at Kidsfest in February 2011 (shut up I was there with my little cousin), it consisted of exploring Icirrus City for a bit before getting access to a route and then having a battle with Bianca. All in all it only took about 7-8 minutes, so I wouldn't expect longer than that for a potential XY demo.

Oh well maybe they'll do something short for the demo. I imagine the 90 minite roundtable will include an more extensive playthrough.

Yeah, indeed...I had a friend who played Pokemon all the time and never got bothered for it (gotta do something while they renovate half the building and we're just sitting around), and I used to rock a NGPC during the last year or so of school and people would constantly ask to see it/play it

I'm holding out hope for Pokemon Snap 2. Would be an awesome use of the gamepad as a camera, use the touchscreen to enhance certain parts of the picture, and have the ability to spin around and see the entire environment.

I would love this. I played Pokemon Snap on VC a while back and that game is really great still to this day. A Snap 2 announcement would make me very excited!

Would be all over this and the Majoras Mask one. I really prefer the aesthetics of the original 3DS.
