TGS is for Japanese devs so it's better for those games to be shown. Versus XIII or some game would be good time to see that. All of the big announcements don't need to be here.
I think its going to be different this year. If they had to blow their load, they would have done it already. I mean, we are barely one day away from it.

Oh, I'm sure you're right. I just wouldn't put it past them, because they pretty much always fuck this stuff up. Ever since this gen started, Sony has been flailing pathetically during their pressers, since almost every third party abandoned them and their FP games always get announced at other events.
I want them to do well. I truly, sincerely do, since if they fuck this up I'm not getting any next-gen consoles. I just haven't seen any indication from Sony themselves that they're going to pull it off. Everything's wishful thinking, and as a Versus loyalist I've learned that wishful thinking never pays off.

They should get all that bullshit out of the way with usual 10 minutes speech Jack Tretton gives at the start of every E3 and be done with it.
I'm personally hoping for as much of PS4 as we can get.
They shouldn't waste anytime on PS3 other than mentioning the reviews of The Last of Us and a few games that are yet to be released, and should not waste time on Vita unless they have something significant to announce. If they don't, just talk about it as part of the PS4 remote play on Vita
PS4 should be front and center of this show.
If this is indeed the full unveiling where they talk about OS, UI and Online (Playstation World?), that alone could take half an hour.
It will get released. Believe!

Nothing stops this train. If Sony delivers, they'll get this gen on a platter.
One thing that gets me is they have yet to go into the entertainment side of the ps4. Are they planning on waiting for a separate event to do it or possibly will just bring it up shortly at E3? I mean they have an entire division so I'm kind of surprised they themselves havn't thrown in the hat toward entertainment.

This time I don't think much if anything will be leaked. If anything We've gotten more info here from "insiders' than anyone else.
Once the conferences start I think there will be very little chance for things to get leaked.

When I say "fuck this up", I mean the launch of the PS4 in general, rather than just their presser. So far, the only game announced for the system that I want to play is inFamous, since I love those games. I don't - can't - buy a console to play only one game, so if they screw up E3, the chances of there being games to draw my attention to the PS4 are very, very slim.
So I'm really hoping Square has something to show that'll keep me interested, because so far an endless horde of Western "experience" games isn't really doing much to hype me up. I would also probably be psyched if one of Sony's internal developers announced an RPG, but it doesn't sound like the timing is quite right for that to happen.
Sorry if I'm being a downer, guys. I don't mean to be. I just don't want anyone to get as hyped as I did the last three times Versus was being "hinted" at showing up at a conference and then we got Lightning garbage instead. In an ideal world, my skepticism will prove wrong and we'll all be happy tomorrow night.

And Versus was never hinted at actually showing until this year and maybe 2011 but even then they said it wouldn't show that year. -shrug- If anyone got hyped in years before, it was because they hyped themselves up.

The Meeting was the first. You could see their influence on the cool looking montages with draws and everything else. I really like their style.

The reveal is their first I think. I also think the new marketing team brought in the live action commercials starting with GOW and Last of Us. So expect some drawings, blue particle effects and Apple-esque dev talk videos.
They're not 'blowing their load before E3'. Get that crap out of here.
