No hardware BC is expected though, considering how unique PS4 is architecture wise compared to PS3. I'm really not sure how they could have got around that... and at least they're allowing people to stream classic PS3 games over Gaikai, so there's that.

Still sucks but I gave up that ghost when I knew they were going a different direction with PS4 (and XBO, actually)

Basically, you bad news is that you have to pay for online now. The good news is that they're going to give you DRIVECLUB right away when you do that.
