Man this is really feeling like the series wrapping up.
It's not wrapping up. It's just working it's way up to a next gen remake of Metal Gear!

Looks great, still nothing about Ground Zeros?
Yes, and also a Konami rep said he couldn't confirm a PC release, so they seem to be hush-hush about it like they were with Rising.
I think it's the same game. There is just a lot of confusion around it. GZ is the prologue to MGSV as tanker was for MGS2 and virtuous mission was for MGS3.

Wikipedia said:Code talkers were people who used obscure languages as a means of secret communication during wartime. The term is now usually associated with the United States soldiers during the world wars who used their knowledge of Native-American languages as a basis to transmit coded messages. In particular there were approximately 400-500 Native Americans in the United States Marine Corps whose primary job was the transmission of secret tactical messages. Code talkers transmitted these messages over military telephone or radio communications nets using formal or informally developed codes built upon their native languages. Their service improved communications in terms of speed of encryption at both ends in front line operations during World War II.
Wikipedia (in reference to picture above) said:Choctaws in training in World War I for coded radio and telephone transmissions.
Got a source on that? Would like to see that.
Destiny, MGSV, and The Division are my most wanted PC ports right now.
I thought they said it was 2 different products? Yeah, they seriously need to come out and clarify that.

Yup,

I'm guessing it will come out on the PC after the console release.
We cannot confirm [a PC version] at this time.
Agreed. But I think this is how it is:
Yeah we already know that, but is it a seperate game?

This game will have a very dark story. No joke at the end of the trailer. Lame.
No joke at the end of the trailer. Lame.
I don't think so.
GZ will be sold first as a "prologue" which what Kojima said originally at PAX 2012. They seem to be drawing the attention away from all of this for some reason. But in the interview with Geoff during GDC Kojima said GZ will come first and after that TPP will release. They haven't been very straightforward.
ed: Np Grief.
You mean is it sold separately? I'm kind of hoping it is. They did state it once, but haven't clarified since. I think we're getting the MGS2 treatment beyond just GZ being a prolouge, I think all we've been shown IS Ground Zeros (mostly anyway). If it came out towards the end of this year/early next year, I wouldn't really be surprised.
Maybe mistranslation. Maybe Kojima meant GZ will happen not come before TPP.
I remember a tweet from him talking about that interviews were often mistranslated.
So Eli's eyes are green.
Pretty sure he is liquid
Pretty sure you say? i say that is 100% Liquid.
Hopefully they show young Solid Snake at TGS?
Oh god the hype.
So Eli's eyes are green.

I thought the "fun" was the goofy mech that BB was riding.
Paying twice for one game?
nonononononononononono
No he said on the stage at the reveal of GZ at PAX 'Prologue to MGS5'.
Also look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmMOhnyqRHY&t=3m52s
He's very hesitant in answering a simple yes/no question. This is why I think both games will be sold separately.
It's hard to tell at this point, you can't get a clear grab of his eyes; and in an earlier screengrab I went all Huelen and eyedropped it only to see blue more than anything. So Eli's eyes are green.
Pretty sure he is liquid
Again, yes prologue to MGS5 as the tanker was to MGS2 and virtuous mission to MGS3.
Those were prologues.
Yep. That'll be an interesting thing to take around the maps.
I absolutely love all the metaphors that Kojima works into his games and trailers, adds so much flavor. I'm probably not the only who noticed this, but "Punished Snake" is clearly a reference to the Adam and Eve story, where God punished the snake for tempting Adam and Eve by taking away his limbs.
Snake has lost his arm, Miller also loses arm and leg. Also, Ocelote's code name in MGS3 was Adam and Eva's was Eve. THE CONNECTIONS!
Fuck your pride, Kojima - the MGS theme MUST return in this. License that shit. Hell, buy it if you have too. It's been 9 fucking years since it appeared in the series :_(
Sorry but who said that? i'm on my phone. The guy just said 'We can't comment on how these things will be distributed'. That's the key word, why would they need to talk about the distribution of two chapters within one game?
