Yup; I feel sorry for the guy, but everyone had to know what they were getting into with signing up with Triforce. It's ultimately your responsibility to take care of your shit, and even if things went bad he either should have kept some of that signing bonus and/or started doing this more than 5 days before Evo. He's going to need to provide damn good justification for this, and he should have done this before he started asking for money. Also feel zero sympathy for the guy with the shitty way he left BT.
The BT thing was going to happen one way or another. To make that setup work you need to move merchandise, and Die' just not that kinda guy. (Yipes, however, is.)

I wish Dieminion wasn't in this situation to begin with, but him not being at EVO would have been a huge disappointment for alot of people, especially after how well he did last year.
Plus he's one of the classiest people I've had the pleasure of meeting in this community, so hopefully he's able to make it to EVO and provides an explanation to people on his situation.

Yes, we're the immature ones here. Even assuming he did just get fucked in general by Triforce, I don't know why he would want to stay part of EMP so why keep quiet about it? Also ultimately it's on him to get his shit taken care of, what happened to his supposedly big signing bonus (unless he didn't actually get one, but that would be even more absurd)? Take care of your shit, and if he did genuinely get fucked, there's no reason to keep quiet about it, and he shouldn't have waited until the last moment to ask for money and then still not be transparent about it. It's a bad look.

I think all that we know for sure is that Die is asking for donations to get to Evo, and apparently (based on posts here, I don't follow any of these folks elsewhere) Triforce has been asking for donations as well to get Sanford to Evo as well?
So most people are wondering why on earth their sponsor is asking for donations to get it's own players to the biggest tournament of the year less then a week beforehand. Apparently all of the other VxG sponsored players are good to go, so it's unclear if Triforce fucked up, VxG fucked up or some combination of the two.
Unrelated, but wasn't someone supposed to be doing a Curleh thread? I'm curious if we have a confirmed list of who is going or not.

That is factually incorrect. You can't, except for maybe the first point depending on your definition of "shit".
I'm not willing to take someone at face value and not assume the worst when they themselves are not forthcoming with any information, and prior, factual history indicates otherwise. People have every right to question why a sponsored player, who said a week ago that he couldn't go to Evo because of "certain circumstances" is now asking for donations to get there less than a week beforehand with zero explanation from him, his team, or his sponsor.

These facts are 100% obvious and undeniable:
- Dieminion left EMP years ago because Triforce is a clown who doesn't know how to run a team
- Triforce is still as big a clown now as he was when Dieminion left
So Dieminion pretty much reap what he sowed. I still respect him and I'll still want to see him in EVO. But not as long as he has the EMP tag in his name.
The second point is factually incorrect. Triforce says crazy shit but I haven't seen him do shady things.
